Our techs Derick, Steve and Chris were phenomenal. They took their time and ensured all devices were installed correctly. This was a rather large job, and they did not rush it. Additionally, they were very patient when it came time to show us how everything worked.

Overall

We had a great experience with Vector installing a security system in our new home. Vinh, the sales rep came out to the house and offered great suggestions about the equipment that would fit our needs. Jake, our installer, went above and beyond answering all of our questions and explaining the equipment to us. We had an older Vector system at our previous home, and were always pleased with Vector's service.

Horrendous service, our system has been malfunctioning resulting in endless beeping for well over 2 years. It’s absolute torture and vector fails to own the problem. They sent a technician out last week who didn’t fix the issue, said they wouldn’t charge for more than an hour of work and would cover everything else. That service charge ended up being over $200. They’ve been out 5+ times over the past 2 years charging far more for those other visits, never fixing the problem. Criminal. They promised a free of charge upgrade of the system as they recognized there was a serious issue in December of ‘23 yet didn’t follow through. The issues persist currently, it takes more than a week for someone to come out and they expect you to just deal with a constant beep in the meantime. Absolute worst customer service/ product experience of my life. You’d think they’d do more for a decades long client. Still waiting on a call from a local manager, not holding my breath. Beyond disappointed.

Jeff installed the system in one day and troubleshoot all issues. He also made some helpful recommendations around functionality and aesthetics. He was great. Vinh was the representative who helped us sign up with Vector and I also found him to be very patient, knowledgeable, and helpful.

Overall

We had a wonderful installation experience with Vector. Bruce Woltanski and Jeff Reed were excellent to work with. They explained everything to me regarding the website, app, and other technology. The Vector technology is easy to use, and everything works seamlessly together. Bruce and Jeff were both so friendly during the process.
