GenPro is fantastic. Whether it is a routine service appointment or an emergency, they have always been reliable and prompt. We appreciate their professionalism and experience and trust them to get the job done every time. Most recently we had a severe storm that sent a power surge through our neighborhood and fried our generator module inside the service panel in the house. The generator worked but the power wasn’t coming into the house. I placed an emergency call at 3AM and spoke to Melissa who was wonderful even though I clearly woke her up. She got our information over to Kelly at the office and she scheduled Don to come out before his first appointment. He was prompt, courteous, and knew exactly what the problem was. He had it fixed in an hour. Not only that, I greatly appreciated him showing me how we could bypass the transfer switch in an emergency if this issue happened again. We would give more than 5 stars if we could for the service that we receive. Thank you, GenPro! You have customers for life.

Best service call I’ve had in a long time. I was dissatisfied with the service I was getting from another generator service company. I had a recurring problem where the generator failed to start. When I called GenPro they answered my call immediately, collected information about my generator, and explained their pricing upfront. I scheduled a service call. The technician arrived and was completely professional. He carefully explained everything about my generator I had never known before and proceeded to diagnose and fix the problem on the spot. He also explained everything that’s included in their annual maintenance plans which I plan to use going forward. The whole experience from the first call to the office, the quality technical service, and the detailed invoice and payment process were excellent. I highly recommended recommend this company.

I selected GenPro to install a Kohler back-up generator for my home. I am really glad I did. This is one of the most upstanding and knowledgeable service organizations I have ever had the opportunity to deal with.

My initial meeting was at my home. Jay came to my house, reviewed my intentions to install a Kohler back-up generator. He checked out the outdoor location, the electrical system and took inventory of the load that the generator would supply.

We talked for a while and Jay supplied answers to many of my questions before I even asked them. Having a background in electrical engineering, I was impressed with Jay’s knowledge and ability to convey what I needed to know about installing a generator.

I was sent a contract that I signed and sent back with a deposit.

GenPro supplied a list of local LP Gas installers and suppliers I could use for the installation. I selected GasTec. I chose to buy the tanks, not rent them. This gives me the option to buy LP Gas from whom I want. I decided on two 120 gal tanks because they could be installed next to the house and still provide about 4-6 days of backup power when tanks are full. Anything larger had to be installed further away.

Installation was scheduled and GenPro coordinated the installation with GasTech. GenPro took care of handling the permitting and inspections.

On installation day, everyone showed up on time. The gas tanks and line were installed and the generator was installed. An automatic transfer switch had to be installed and some load shedding equipment to ensure the load never exceeded the rating of the generator.

This was an exceptionally well-done job. There was a lot of difficult wiring work from the meter to the transfer switch, to the indoor distribution panels, and the load-shedding equipment. Jay did a diligent job.

Jay’s assistant (I wish I could remember his name) was excellent. He provided us with all the background information about the equipment, how it would run and what we needed to do if something was not working properly. He provided us with a simplified user manual which helped us understand the system and what we needed to do.

I can’t say enough about GenPro. You can’t go wrong by hiring this company. They are ethical, responsible, courteous, and good communicators. Melissa did the coordinating at the office and did a great job of keeping us informed and making sure the installation day was successful.

On 12/14/22 I updated the images with the new red siding.
