Mike Walsh conducted a home inspection for me and did a wonderful job. He combines experience, deep knowledge, and a patient approach to explain what's he's investigating, his findings, and the potential impact to the homebuyer. He took time to answer all our questions and followed up with a detailed report a few hours later. I'd hire him again and recommend his services to anybody looking for a top notch home inspector.

Mike Walsh came highly recommended from multiple sources. I used him for an inspection on two homes. As a first time homebuyer, it was super important to me to know what I was getting into when buying a new home. What I learned from this experience was more than finding out important things about the property that I was buying to inform me what I was getting into and what dark secrets might be lurking behind the walls. It was an educational experience where I was really learning about the home that I was purchasing and how to take care of it. I feel like Mike Walsh treated me like he would want his own daughter to be treated if she were buying her first home. He took the time to explain things to me in a way that I would understand and also make sure I knew what I should do to take care of the home for years to come. He sends a very detailed report with everything that he talked to you about after the inspection. My wife and I were extremely impressed with Cameron Kuney who did an inspection for us. He was very clear concise and upfront about his role, what he can and cant do. He was there 30 minutes before our appointment where he did roof inspection 1st so he could walk us through the rest. Cameron was very detailed and knowledgeable in his work. He explained each finding in detail without opinion as facts only so that we could use the information in making a clear decision. We got a full detailed report just hours later. From the moment I shook hands with Mike, I knew I was in excellent hands. He showed up early to get a head start on the property which allowed us to jump right into it. He was extremely friendly, knowledgeable, and took the time to explain each and every detail to us. Even though we didn’t know how a lot of things worked or what they meant, he took the time to explain it all to us in a way we could understand - without dumbing it down too much! Another gentleman named Cam was also a part of the inspection and he was a great second voice to add input and show us around. The report they gave us at the end is like a golden ticket- meticulous details for every single nook and cranny of our house in a very easy to read and easy to understand format. For a first time home buyer, Mike made us feel like we were in trusted hands which we certainly were. I cannot recommend Walsh Home Inspections enough! I’d give 10 stars if I could.

I was able to book an inspection the same week I called. Our inspector, Cameron, was thorough, organized and knowledgeable. This is my first home and I know next to nothing. He explained and answered my questions respectfully and clearly so that I could process without stress. My family and realtor were all present, yet he handled all questions and the various personalities asking them with grace. An experience which might have been overwhelming or confusing or stressful was ultimately educational and interesting due to his professionalism and knowledge. My family and realtor, all whom have attended dozens of inspections together, collectively agreed this was the best one they had ever experienced. The report was impressively thorough with descriptions and photos, and submitted the same day, even though Cameron mentioned it might be a little delayed due to his schedule. Worth every penny.

My only criticism is about the Porch service contracted with Walsh. They wasted an hour of my time calling over and over...one person calls you, then forwards you to a mortgage broker (gave me incorrect info about my auto reports, scaring me! Also hasn't sent those quotes two days later), the original person calls you back and forwards you to someone else and so on and so forth. When they asked for my SS# I hung up. Scammy. Wish I'd opted out when I had the chance but didn't really understand the disclaimer and just wanted to sign the inspection contract. Walsh might want to rethink their association with this sketchy service.
