Wow! What an outstanding job everyone with Merit Flooring in Aiken, SC did for the flooring needs in our home. We chose to replace all of our carpet with the laminate hardwood. John Haddon was the sales individual that we met with to obtain a quote for the job. There was absolutely no pressure and he guided us through the selection process very carefully. He was about as nice of a person as you could meet and treated the entire process so professionally from start to finish. He was always available to answer any questions we had and made us feel so comfortable with the process. The two installers, Tracy and Cory, were better than advertised - courteous, efficient, and very sensitive to the details of their work. They removed the carpet, undercut the doors, installed the flooring, base trim, and thresholds and moved our furniture and put it back with no problems. We were so impressed with how they were constantly cleaning up behind themselves as they moved from room to room so as to avoid a lot of dust and tracking of material throughout the house. We thought that they were terrific. If you are looking for quality individuals and a total team effort to help you with your flooring needs, I would certainly recommend considering Merit Flooring in Aiken.

Merit had the carpet I wanted. Someone came out to measure but never got back to me with a price or to set up the install. I called to follow up, and called, and called, and left messages. I mostly spoke with Courtney who told me she was leaving the messages for whoever came out to measure. After months of waiting and never hearing back, I went with a different shop who didn't carry the same carpet. It's sad because I didn't get what I wanted and Merit was the only place that had it. Not a good experience.

If there was a minus zero star that what I would give this company for the way we were treated and mislead. We still don’t have our 950 doller deposit back and it’s been over a month!!! They told us they would issue a credit and still isn’t done!! We want our money back as they are not doing the job!!!! Beware of this company they say it’s there policy to have there customers pay all Up front!! Well they can’t even give u a schedule date or respond to a phone cal for 3 weeks ! How comfortable would u be forking out t1600 dollers to them . I want my 950 deposit Back

Merit vastly improved our kitchen, 2 1/2 baths and laundry room! Emily walked us through choosing all our new finishes and styles. She was a efficient and communicative project manager. Merit helped make our kitchen beautiful and functionable with all the storage solutions we needed. Emily helped us chose custom cabinets, countertops, hardware, and flooring that compliment each other. She worked with us to make sure the cabinets were stained the color we wanted.
Emily and Travis did a great job scheduling all the work so the job moved along timely. They kept us informed of what to expect each day and let us know in advance if something changed. They were always willing to answer our questions and address all our concerns. All emails and phone calls were returned timely.

The Merit team in Aiken transformed our bare bones basic laundry room into a beautiful addition to our home. Emily was an amazing project manager who kept us informed every step of the way. Travis was able to design a solution for venting the dryer that was far superior to the original house design and allowed us to maximize the space.
