This store has got to be the most incompetent, misleading, and unfriendly place to shop for tile in Florence. Carried them the square footage needed from the tile setter. Was told how much was needed. Bought the tile from them. Was oversold by over a box. Went to carry it back, they refused saying it was special order. It was not a special order. Their store is in Columbia and that is where they get their tile. Not special order situation. Also said no one buys white tile ????????????. Called Columbia store who ever answered was not customer friendly and didn’t care if we shopped there again or not. So what am I supposed to do with $140.00 box of tile. People want everyone to shop local. This is why people don’t..

I have always used Kathy and the Tile Center for all my tile needs through out the years. I realize I am a small project homeowner but I am sad to say that I will not continue our business relationship. I had to reorder more tile to finish a large bathroom floor, 3 out of a pack of 8 had been broken. When I called to let them know, thinking that knowing me 18 plus years(used them exclusively for the whole house in Florence) and never having a problem I assumed we had good faith relationship. That I would not have to make a point to have them open all of my boxes, check every tile and re-package them in front of me. Because I assumed that they where an honorable business. I WAS WRONG!!! BEWARE!! Take care of your needs and let them prove to you that the tile you purchase is in good and useable shape or you lose. Good faith businesses are difficult to find.
