Brooks Electric did a great job of upgrading the old wiring from 1953 and the old breaker boxes, so I now live in a “modern safe home”.
They made suggestions when I asked about adding additional outlets, canned ceiling lighting, and new ceiling fans. Old closets were lit up. All new switch covers installed.
The 3 guys were all very respectful, competent, and professional.
Any problems have been promptly addressed.
I highly recommend this business for any electrical work and I hope they’ll be available for me to call on again as I continue to renovate my old family home.

Everyone I dealt with at Brooks was top shelf. They replaced an existing non compliant service to my dock, installed flood lights on the dock, and installed a new receptacle in our great room. The work was done quickly and professionally at a fair price.

We recently purchased an old farmhouse that needed the knob and tube electrical replaced. We met with a ton of electricians but Brooks Electric was the first that walked up and said "This place is awesome!" (everyone else said to tear it down and build a new house) They were respectful of the historic architecture of our home and were creative in finding ways around things like pocked doors and beadboard ceilings. The did the work while we were out of town for the week and when we came back we were expecting to have holes all in our ceilings and walls to repair, but that was not the case! They were so careful in their cuts into the walls and screwed back in the drywall pieces they had cut out, as well as the beadboard ceilings. The had even cleaned up and mopped after themselves! I have never experienced such professionalism or had an electrician clean up. The also are well dressed and professional...no creepy vibes. ha Highly recommend this company, especially for historic preservation of old homes!

The beginning experience with this company was hopeful. Joshua came out to examine the issue at my mother's home and said he would search for the part needed and followup if he could find it or if we would need to replace the entire box. We were in a desperate situation with no electricity. After a week of not hearing from Josh, my mother called and left a message with no return call. She then called the office and spoke with a female who she said she would followup with Josh. Til this day we still haven't received a return call. We ended up finding someone else that was more than willing to help and has provided exceptional service. If he wasn't interested in accepting the job he could have been professional enough to say so. We wasted a week waiting on him. Would never recommend.

I needed a temporary power pole installed and after meeting with Josh about what my plans were he submitted an estimate. After reviewing the estimate I contacted Josh and he scheduled the install date. He and his crew were on time and worked their way through some minor complications to get the job done. Staff is knowledgeable and efficient. Our intermittent power outage on half of our house was nerve wracking and fearful. Josh at Brooks Electric was calming and helpful. His initial assessment was correct and he made an appointment for a home visit straight away. Because of his first hand knowledge we were able to pinpoint the problem which was actually the power company's responsibility to correct and we were saved a very expensive repair. We appreciate Josh being prepared to assist if his initial assessment had not been accurate. We highly recommend Brooks Electric to anyone with private or professional electricity issues.
