They did an awesome job getting our driveway extended, patio and sidewalk done. Turned out exactly how else discussed. And the price point they had was very fair for the market. I would definitely recommend.

Good Contractors are hard to find!

Wanted to share our experience with Cedar Ridge Construction and Grading LLC. We had them come out to assess and create a solution for drainage on our property after the builder struggled for a year to properly address the issue. We chose them after meeting with several other contractors….ultimately they had the smartest solution, specific experience fixing builder-botched drainage issues and the best pricing.

Chris Gantter and his crew did things none of us in this neighborhood are used to; they showed up when they said they would (early). They were pleasant and communicative ….and provided solutions instead of excuses. There were no strange deviations for unknown reasons. They explained their plan and they executed it. After dealing with builder contractors, you can imagine how surreal it was to find ourselves working with a crew who stayed on task from start to finish.

**They installed piping and rock to move over 1500 gallons of water per minute underground and to the road where it can reach storm drains. They also regraded the swale and berm to look more natural and guide surface water better…..no more ineffective bugs bunny hump running down the side of our yard.

They even took extra initiative without prompting from us to investigate the source of additional moisture they weren’t even here to address. As it turns out, the mystery moisture the builder continuously dismissed as air conditioner moisture was actually a leak in our irrigation system….caused by sub-standard work (no sealing tape and pipe on pipe instead of adding necessary joints and elbows ). They fixed it for us so they could continue with the project at hand and now we understand what’s going on in other parts of our yard where we suspect other irrigation joints are leaking. It’s an easy fix that we can do ourselves now that we know what these mysterious moist spots really are. All the builder gave us on it was excuses. It’s a small thing but I’m curious to see how our water bill changes with the joints fixed.

Anyway! I wanted to recommend this amazing group of guys. If you have drainage, grading, concrete work needs….you won’t be disappointed with the work they do!

For all property owners like myself who are hesitant to make the financial decision for their land grading needs because you don't know what you really need nor the company that you can trust to get it right the first time. Once you break ground it's going to be right or a costly mistake. Well after several quotes and many prayers I called CR Construction and Grading. Chris answered my call and meet with me at my land. After discussing with Chris about what I had planned out, Chris listened, gave me expert suggestions and a competitive price. I knew right then my prayers were answered. We called Chris Gantter and his team in to address a storm water drainage issue our builder was struggling to fix properly. We met with three other contractors, but ultimately, Chris’ assessment, solution and pricing were all superior.

Chris executed a solution that not only maximized water moved under ground to facilitate good drainage …but our yard ended up looking so much better than what the builder left us with. The regrade work was outstanding.

More than the final result though…Chris and his entire team seem to be on the same page regarding customer satisfaction. Everyone we met and who worked on our yard was always pleasant (no matter how hot it was) and super responsive to our questions and concerns. Chris and his team even took the initiative to find the source of an issue with our irrigation system that we didn’t even know we had. They found it and fixed it and continued to do an outstanding job.

Highly, highly recommend and we will be calling them for all of our future drainage and construction needs!

Chris and his team did grading and some clean up on our property to prep for our new home we are building in SC (while living in Connecticut) Chris’s communication, transparency, and understanding for what kind of work we needed done was amazing.
