Three years ago, we had a Smoke Detector Problem that Carolina Powers Solutions, LLC handled quickly and efficiently.
Fast forward to last week when one of the circuit breakers in the electrical panel kept tripping. I contacted Mark Reigle, President, Carolina Power Solutions, LLC, and told him what was happening. The very next morning, PROMPTLY at 9:00 a.m., two of Mark's Service Techs arrived...Matt and Justin. After much testing, it was determined that the circuit breaker needed to be changed out. That evening, after about 2 hours of lights on in the two rooms affected by this particular circuit breaker, the new breaker tripped, so I shut it off. I contacted Mark again the next morning, and he graciously fit me into their busy work schedule and sent one of the Service Techs that had been here before...Matt! We decided collectively that all of the outlets and faceplates on that particular circuit would be changed out. In the process of changing out the outlets/faceplates, we discovered that one outlet had obviously been overloaded and part of the outlet had actually melted. I watched Matt change out 7 outlets/faceplates for new ones...connecting wires appropriately...unlike the sloppy workmanship of the original electrician when this house was built. Because I have a covered outdoor outlet by my deck, that was also connected to this particular circuit breaker, Matt wanted to check it out as well. I was "stunned" when he told me that the outlet itself was perfectly fine, but that the wiring that went under the house was NOT in a "box" to protect it from moisture...he told me that this went against "code". UNBELIEVABLE! This next part I wouldn't have wished on anyone...Matt had to go into the crawl space under the house, sweep away spider webs and move scrap wood enough so that he had access to the wiring...this after having to make a special trip to buy the appropriate sized "box". NOT one word of complaint from Matt the entire time! He also took the time to explain what he was doing and why he was doing it. I cannot express my gratitude enough for the way in which I was treated...professionally, respectful of my time, promptness...all at a fair and reasonable price. When Mark tells you that someone will be at your home at a specified time, you can bank on it! He is a man of his word, hires the best people for his team, and does EXACTLY what he says he's going to do, and tells his Techs to treat their customers as though they were a member of their family. These days, service like this just doesn't get any better!!! THANK YOU Mark, Matt and Justin for your work ethic!!!

NOTE: This is the 4th electrical project that Carolina Power Solutions, LLC has done for me! I keep them on "speed-dial"!!!

Three years ago, we had a Smoke Detector on a "dedicated electrical line" that decided it didn't want to work any more. We spent a LONG night listening to it "chirping". I called our daughter this morning, who recommended "Carolina Power Solutions"...they had done work at her home on several occasions. I called early this morning and spoke with Mark Reigle, President of Carolina Power Solutions, LLC, and we set an appointment time of 12 o'clock noon today. Mark was PUNCTUAL (no waiting around for someone to show up), PROFESSIONAL ( in appearance and demeanor), CUSTOMER RESPONSIVE (he listened patiently to me as I explained our problem), and he recommended that we replace the old Smoke Detector with a new one that has NO BATTERIES to change out and also includes Carbon Monoxide Alerts! The QUALITY and CLEANLINESS of Mark's expert work, in conjunction with a FAIR and REASONABLE price, made me a "life long customer"! THANK YOU SO MUCH MARK!!!

My husband and I found ourselves in a situation on a Saturday (unfortunately) where we didn't know if we could sleep that night because our sudden electrical issue could have burned our house down! We called CPS and Mark came right away! He and my husband brainstormed as quick as they could and Mark came up with the perfect solution. We will definitely call him again in the future if/when we need an electrician. (The ONLY reason I didn't check 'Value' up there is because calling ANY electrician on a WEEKEND is expensive!)

We had a storm come through the area. Later that week we had a power surge that burned out part of our electrical system in our home blowing out surge protectors and causing damage to some of our appliances. Mark came out at 8pm Tuesday to make sure there was no risk of a home fire. He moved his schedule around on Wednesday to get to us first thing in the morning since our central air was off and forecast temperatures were 96 that day. He said he believed storm damage on the roof caused a leak that went into the breaker box inside and caused the surge. I called a roofer. Mark was right. He fixed the electrical. He was quick to respond, correct in his assessment, fixed the electrical damage quickly, reasonably priced, and very courteous and empathetic. He also called back that night to check on us. Customer service at its finest. Highly recommend!

Best electrician I've ever dealt with. On short notice they showed up on a Sunday, fixed my problem within an hour. The electrician even stayed to make sure that Duke Power didn't need anything else done before they reconnected my power.
