Great group of people. Very transparent on the process along with if they over budgeted on certain items they gave credit back. Quality service along with constant communication the whole way through. They completed our back patio which is now a spot we can enjoy our game days, watch our kids play and enjoy the beautiful outdoors year round.

Excellent service and meticulous in their effort to get everything right. Peyton came three times to make sure we are within property lines and that the needs of what I wanted could be accomplished. Tommy and his band of merry workers showed up earlier than the appointment needed, all three times for the project and the use of the pump truck needed as it was hard to get to the spot to place the concrete. Everyone was super friendly and it was a great pleasure to work with them. I would definitely put them as first choice on my next project.

These reviews are a valuable way that consumers can hold vendors accountable for their work. I try my best to be honest and post reviews when I pleased with work just as much when I am not pleased. I take this seriously and hope the review helps Cox in the future (dealing with clients) and anyone considering using them. My scoring is very simple: I award 5 stars if I feel that the company did the same work they would have done for the owner of the company. I award 4 stars if I feel the company did the same work they would have done for the owner's relative and three stars if they did the work, but it just does not go above getting it done.

So let's be specific regarding this job by Cox. The sales guy (Peyton) is professional, knowledgeable and responsive. The only thing (hind site) I can see him doing better is adding a "finishing" section to the contract with options that are clear (more about that later).

The backfill was completed by a couple of guys contracted by COX. They were nice enough and ultimately did a decent job, but they dumped A LOT of dirt in the pool. I mean... A LOT. It took me a few weeks of vacuuming and flushing to get the dirt out. In their defense, it had not rained in like two months and it was a WINDY day when they did it (dust clouds everywhere). Should THEY have backed off and not did it? Used a hose to wet the dirt? Yes. I am the consumer, not a professional who has this knowledge (until now) and rely on them to make good decisions. This cost me a lot of work.

Laying down the concrete went fine. COX made the right decision of waiting extra time to let the backfill settle and the foreman was responsive and helpful (Joel). After completing the job they sent a crew to pick up the big chunks of concrete and some other minor clean up. The job itself was done pretty well (I like it), but the finish was very poor on the backfill. On some corners of the deck there is a two foot drop with the fill UNDER THE DECK exposed. This is where the difference of 3 to 4 or even 5 stars could come in. I took pictures of the poor finish and the exposed sides and fill under the deck and sent it to them asking if they would finish the backfill. I even bought a full truck load of fill. They offered to do it if we paid additional money. To me, that means they are satisfied with their work and the job was complete. You be the judge. It cost them two stars. Anyhow, I gotta' go get my wheelbarrow out and spread that fill....

We contacted with Cox for a large concrete pad on which to park our RV. On the day the work was done, the concrete turndown at the end of the pad had not been formed and poured as we wanted; instead the dirt that had to be excavated was pushed to the end and later much of that was removed with the remainder simply sloped up to the bottom of the pad. After bringing this to the project manager's attention, they offered to build a retaining wall for us, and that was completed within the next few days. The crew even put down grass seed and straw where our lawn had been torn up in the process of clearing what had been excavated. We are pleased with the end result and appreciate the folks at Cox for listening to our concerns and responding in order to make things right.

Justin and his team did a incredible job in my backyard. We were on a tight schedule to get it all done before Christmas. Every thing was finished on the 21st of December.
They came on the scheduled day to pour the concrete. After two weeks they lifted the table top onto the pillars and stayed until i liked the placement.
Everyone cleaned up after them self and left the jobsite in clean condition.
The entire team was patient and very kind. Great job and thank you very much!

I will be building a brick pizza oven on top of concrete table top and post a picture once it's all finished.

I worked with Justin on getting a quote and getting the project scheduled for a driveway expansion and sidewalk addition. He came for the estimate on the scheduled day and time. He was very communicative and was easy to work with as we made modifications. The workers also repeated the punctuality, frequent communication, were very friendly, and did a fantastic job. We were ecstatic with the finished results and have already made recommendations to other family members to use Cox for their concrete needs. Justin even called to follow up and to be sure we were happy. It's nice to deal with competent contractors who deal honestly with no surprises and we plan on using them in the future for pressure washing and driveway sealing in the coming months.
