A1 did a great job getting rid of a serious trip hazard at my home.A large piece of the driveway leading up to my front porch needed to be leveled off.Their team from Josh who is the point guy to the girl that sets the appt. and the two guys who did the work were great.The spot were the two large sections of driveway meet is now perfectly flat and where it had dropped down away from porch is closed.They caulked the seams and filled the holes were they drilled so you could not see them.They are also very responsive and great at keeping to their schedule.Been in Tn for 3 yrs and cannot say my experiences with contractors has always been this good.

First off, Robert & Marquan were the technicians at our home in Spring Hill. They were awesome!!! They were early, they were responsive to all my questions, they were on top of everything. I guess that's what you expect in Tennessee!!! They were a great representation of the company - which tells me the Columbia TN company treats their people right. This was not a big job, and they did not treat me like I was "small potatoes". Also, the driveway repair looks great! It's hard in our area to get companies to do smaller jobs. I appreciate the heck out of everyone I spoke with & worked with at A-1 Concrete. I cannot recommend enough.

A1 installed a new drain and regraded our soil levels so water would drain away from the house. We live up against a hill and have water intrusion in the basement every time it rains a lot for multiple days in a row. The crew that arrived brought big machinery to dump the new soil. When I explained how much I love the plants I’ve spent years growing, they went above and beyond to avoid damaging my garden. They did it all by hand, even though it took them a lot longer than they expected. I’m so grateful they were able to spare my plants and still get the job done. I would hire them again in a heartbeat.

I was really pleased with the service provided and the way they handled my problem. I have a large pea gravel drive way that was sinking and had several cracks. The dip in the driveway was causing water to sit and then make its way towards our house where it would then leak into my house. I thought I needed a drain to fix the problem. The salesman said he thought lifting the driveway and leveling it out would fix my problem. When they first did the work I was a little unsure and the workers relayed that info back to the salesman. He called me the same day and said he wanted to come by and take a look. His recommendation was to have it lifted a little more and if either they could not lift it enough or it did not fix the problem then they would install the drain on their dime. I thought that was reasonable and let them come back out and lift it. After the work was done the owner then called and said he would like to come take a look at the work. The work they did looks really good and I am hopeful this fixes my issue. I am waiting on a really good rain to know for sure but I do think the problem has been solved. The owner assured me that if it was not fixed then they would come out and fix it at no charge. I do believe them and would definitely recommend them to others.

After hearing horror stories from neighbors about working with contractors that took their money and disappeared I was worried about who to hire to pour a walkway and extend my patio. After reading all the reviews here I decided to go with A-1. Because of the weather it took awhile to get on the schedule but once we did the experience was far better than I expected. There are several teams and we got Cody and Justin. I hope you get them too. They were knowledgeable, answered all my questions, even about items not related to the job, courteous, and meticulous. It was a lot of the little things that I noticed. I had told them that I had just got the yard level and the grass to grow and I was concerned about it getting all torn up. They went out of their way to do as little damage with the equipment as was possible. When they parked their truck in my driveway they put plastic under the engine and transmission just in case it dripped. They power washed my driveway cleaned up the street where they had trailers parked, I'm sure my neighbors appreciated that. Speaking of neighbors, several of them came over to chat with Cody and Justin because they were impressed with the work they were doing. Thanks A-1 for a worry free experience.

Refreshing to have dependable work done in a timely manner .
Josh came to estimate the job a day early ! And was available to answer and discuss the project on 2 two follow up phone calls.
The crew also communicated a time and were punctual. Bill and partner were respectful and we asked questions through the day.Bill explained the ongoing process and why things were done a certain way.
They protected the grass and driveway and cleaned thoroughly when they were done.
Bill and partner had to return the next morning for brickwork .Again they were punctual,completed the job and cleaned up well.
