Had a friend over for dinner and she walked right into my sliding glass door and shattered it. Instiglass was the only company that quoted me quickly. Then they had someone come out to measure so they could order the pane and the quote was a little bit cheaper (because it was single pane not double pane). Also, the guy took extra time to come back and clean it up after he had worked all day, which I really appreciated. Everyone was very professional, and I never felt unsafe with the workers. As a single woman that meant a lot. Excellent company, and would HIGHLY recommend. Quality of the glass is great and the door is back to normal!

All around great experience! I had 3 windows in need of repair and inquired through the website. I got an almost immediate response to my inquiry, which included prices. I was able to get the job done the very next business day and it only took about 2 hours! The staff was all very helpful, friendly and informative. We couldn’t be happier and will gladly go back the next time we need window repair.

Inst-I-Glass of Knoxville has exceptional and professional customer service. If you have an issue or question about their work, they respond quickly and resolve it. Their quote was accurate, and the workers arrived on time when scheduled. The quoted price was very reasonable. There were no unexpected issues that added to the cost of the job. They replaced the cloudy glass in our patio French doors. Another company said they could not replace just the glass but could sell us a replacement door. I would not hesitate to use or recommend Inst-I-Glass of Knoxville.

Overall

They do decent work but their prices are about 5x higher than other glass repair shops. A recent example: I took a small 20”x20” octagon window for pane repair. They quoted $300. I then went to Knox glass and had the same service performed for $60. I would suggest you check around before wasting extra money for the same service.

After an issue with a nightmare tenant where we ended up with a shattered window and broken window frame and only 24 hours until the next guest was scheduled to check in, I called several repair companies and Inst-I-Glass was the fastest company to be able to help us out. I live out of state, and they came out to the condo to retrieve the frame for me, repaired the frame and replaced the glass, and returned to reinstall it within just a few hours from the first phone call! Ted was so nice and even cleaned up all the broken glass for us. I was fully prepared to have to board up the window, but Inst-I-Glass exceeded all of my expectations and everything is ready to go for my next tenant tomorrow!
