When you're building a house, you get asked two questions: "when are you going to be moving in?", and "who's your builder?".

I was asked these same two questions again and again, and I was amazed at the fact that I got virtually the same reaction EVERY TIME I said "Fred Trainer is building my house". Almost everyone responded the same way... they didn't SAY anything. They just sort of did this dismissive hand gesture and moved on. It was the international hand signal for "OK, you're good. You'll be fine."

It was uncanny... everybody had virtually the same response to my answer and literally NOBODY had anything bad to say. Nobody. At that point Fred had been building houses in Knoxville for over 20 years, and nobody had anything bad to say. At all. In fact everybody just talked about how great he was. About a BUILDER! People LOVE to complain about their builder! But not about Fred, or the people who work with him.

Let's be honest, Fred's not building your house. His people are. And the trades people he works with. And I can tell you, having met EVERYONE who had anything to do with building my house (since I was onsite literally every day making a complete nuisance of myself, no doubt), everyone who works with Fred is a solid human being. He attracts good people, and he holds them accountable.

I'm grateful to Fred Trainer. Truly. And I'm grateful to the fine men who built my house. I appreciate everything that everyone did, and the care with which they did it. They WANTED to build me a good house... and they did. And now that it's built I am comforted by the fact that when issues arise, they'll be there to help me address them.

Get Fred to build your house. You'll be very glad you did.
