Called out for service. $1400 later in repairs and service the generator won’t work. I called and tech admitted he forgot about the original call. I have called 3 times over the past 4 weeks and can’t even get a return phone call. Call someone else for repairs!!!
Update!!!! Did hear from the service guy and his manager is going to call me right back. Only been a couple weeks so I’m still waiting for that call!!!

I am a 72 retired teacher, & single mom of 2 adult autistic sons. One lives with me. A friend recommended ARK, I paid $450 for a year service agreement on 1/24/24 & asked them to return 7/2024 for the follow up 6mo service. Beryl beat them, On 7/8/2024 that cat1 storm blew into Katy,
Power went off & on about 8 times in quick succession as 100mph winds hit. It blew out half the Kohler breakers! The generator was only on half power. I called ARK daily asking for Eric or a technician to RETURN MY CALL to tell me how to replace the breakers that blew out 10 days ago. NO one EVER returned my call! NO ONE!!
7/15/24 I called 3 times. NO communication! Only their answering service answers & takes my name & number. They must have gone out of business.!!!!!
I want a refund on that so called service agreement & find a company that can return calls !! Thanks for leaving me stranded! Would you treat your grandmother the way you treat a paying customer! I will report to BBB, & STATE!

I visited Josh today while in the eye of the hurricane (literally). My generator had stopped working this morning and telephone lines were not cooperating so I decided to stop by their shop. Josh was very helpful, contacted two of his service technicians, and Casper and Hector had me up and running very quickly. Thanks for all your help in a time of need Josh. Great customer service, Casper and Hector are both very professional, personable, and quality technicians.

Nobody ever told us what the service charge would be before the service was rendered. We thought since we had a 10 year comprehensive warranty, the battery and everything would be maintenance free for 10 years. Suddenly, when the battery is out on our generator after 2 1/2 years, we are being charged $435 for the battery and service charge. When we contacted ARK, they told us that that price was already discounted due to having a service agreement. Carlos later indicated that he had told us about the service charge before he came out. That did not happen.

I’ve had my whole house generator installed and maintained by Ark for 2 months shy of 5 years. Due to the recent tornado (May 16, 2024) my generator quit working. I was frantic as THIS was the nightmare occurrence that I feared and the reason I bought the unit in the first place. After several requests for service, I finally got a call from Casper who said he was 45 minutes away and on his way. His arrival was approximately 22 hours after the storm. He worked diligently for almost an hour and fixed the communication problems between my breaker box & the generator. He explained that most likely lighting close by caused the malfunction. It was not struck, but he said if it was close enough that was all it would take for an issue. It has been since Friday and today is Sunday and still using the generator constantly. I hope the power will be restored soon, but at least my refrigerator is keeping my food and insulin safe. The unit has paid for itself over the years and it was thanks to Centerpoint’s special on installation that prompted me to buy this piece of mind. Casper’s number is in my cell phone and I am very pleased with Ark and his service and attention to repair and maintenance details.
