My maintinence visit with OGD for my garage door. My rep Eric was very knowledgeable and informative. He made this visit feel very personable . And Very pleasant. He was able to fix my problem with ease!

Garage was “fixed” twice by two technicians. Second stated the first completely messed up and then said he would solve it. Less than a few months later and the garage again comes off the track. On the third interaction when making appointment asked to speak to manager. Nothing. Third technician comes and quote of 350.00 to fix a problem that was apparently “good to go” by prior technician AGAIN asked to speak to a manager regarding problem and why it keeps happening especially when each technician stated the problem was now solved. Answering service said manager would reach out and they never did. I am certain they were aware of the situation as the technician stated they had been told we were complaining. Decided to cancel service and still no one reached out didn’t seem to care about technicians or customer.

I’m sure others have had positive experiences with this company, but I’ve had a complete frustrating time. The first time a technician came he was very nice , but unfortunately installed two springs instead of one, which made my door come off the track. I had to call the company again, they sent another gentleman out who informed us the other guy messed up and they’d take care of it. Very fair. But to this day the door keeps coming off the track. I called a third time, and now the company is telling me I’m complaining and wants me to pay $350 to now fix a bent track that the previous technician bent to get the door back on the track. This all after I already paid for a door kit of $750 the first time, and probably overpaid given I didn’t need two springs. Take your business elsewhere. And after three requests to speak to a manager I’ve been ghosted. I guess they’re happy they got $750 from me already.

Today I had OGD come out to look into an issue I had. I was quoted "X" amount for (Basic) Motor Repair Package - Package priced as lump-sum including the following materials and labor and right below I was quoted "X" amount for Gear and Sprocket - Lump Sum Material and Labor.
The concernquestion that I have is I don' t know what I'm paying for in regard to this Package. Is this for labor, if so is this for an hour etc? I'm not sure how it could be for materials when I was quoted "Gear and Sprocket - Lump sum Material and Labor" on the line right below.
The lady I spoke with attempted to answer my question, but I'm not sure if it was me or not, but I'm still not getting it.
I understand businesses have to make money, but when I asked if there is any way to reduce the cost, I was provided with a simple answer of "No" we can not adjust the cost. For me it would have been helpful to at least provide a reason to the "No".
If I may, I would recommend putting the 12 Point Safety Inspection verbiage on a new line item with a price of $0 since you all perform these actions at every visit and it's not something the purchaser can opt out of (from my understanding).
If my experience changes, I will not hesitate to update my response.
