We moved to a new small town in our state and did a search for windows for our house which still has the original windows from decades ago that are in bad shape. We contacted Andersen and got no response. We were contacted by Matthew of NewSouth and he drove a long distance to see us and stayed as long as needed on a Saturday to explain everything thoroughly, with examples, and work on a fair deal we could afford. We recently replaced all 18 windows in our two-story home with NewSouth Windows and were very pleased with the whole process from beginning to end.

We decided it was time to replace the original windows on our home built in 2003 and were hoping that the new windows would be more energy efficient and help make our A/C unit more efficient and hopefully reduce our overall heating/cooling bill. We had NewSouth Windows come out to provide an initial quote and I share this only for those who have never replaced windows before – these windows are expensive. They aren’t the most expensive out there (we’ve heard that Renewal by Anderson, a competitor is at the top of the pricing scale) but the overall cost of the project gave us sticker-shock. We understood that the quality of the windows, the construction and materials used are not cheap so we moved ahead with the project. There is financing available (0% interest for a period of time) so we used that to help with the cost. The process was easy and once we signed the contract and moved ahead, we waited a few weeks before the windows were ready for installation. All this was explained to us up front so we expected this and were pleased when they called a little earlier than originally planned to schedule installation. The installation started and finished in one business day – the team came through and moved quickly and efficiently and were very careful and respectful of our property. It actually rained all day and so we were concerned that the installation was going to have to be rescheduled but it wasn’t! The crew worked through the rain – from beginning to end, the process was smooth and professional. We are happy with the new windows (it’s been almost 2 months now) and while we do feel that the windows are already more efficient, the real test will be these summer months, however, I am optimistic that if nothing else, this was a very good investment for us to make on our home and am happy that we went with NewSouth Windows.
