Overall

[The person I worked with] was professional, courteous, timely, and responsive. However, the work itself missed many things. The house I bought, in part because I trusted this company, is a complete money pit. Looking over the review, a large number of items said "The inspector is not required to do the following". It sounded reasonable, until I looked at inspection reports from other companies which do provide that information (example: "efficiency or adequacy" of systems such as HVAC.)

"Not being required to" is different from "should". An extra hour of your time could save thousands and thousands of dollars for me and my family, or whoever next tries A Pro.

Matt was very flexible with us while scheduling a date and time for the inspection of our new home. When he arrived at the house on the scheduled day, he noticed the house was not ready to be inspected and did not charge us for driving out there. He gave us a quick yet thorough review of what needed to be fixed on site and a report was sent to us later that night. I highly recommend A Pro Home Inspection San Antonio.

Matt W. was wonderful to work with. We had delays due to the pandemic and Matt was able to work around our builder's last minute changes. We felt informed throughout the whole process and could tell that Matt was looking out for our best interest. This was our first experience with a home inspector, and even the realtor said shes going to start recommending them because of how thorough and professional their reports are. There was a full 32 page report for our first home and we are very, very impressed with the quality of all the work.

I had shopped and called around 7 other home inspectors and none were any where near as helpful nor informative over the phone. The price was spot on for everything they offer.

A-Pro was very convenient to deal with to schedule a home inspection for a possible home purchase. They were timely and professional. We have had many inspections done over the years and theirs was, by far, the most detailed. Joseph and Chris DeMarco were very thorough in their inspection and within one day they furnished a lengthy on-line report of their inspection.
