Overall

I had a very unpleasant interaction with this company. Walked in to get a quote for permanent lighting, after being referred by my neighbor. From the start Jim Young the GM acted as if I was bothering him for a service they provide. He said he would get back to me with a quote. Never heard from him again. I followed up multiple times with no response. When I was finally able to get him on the phone, he hurried to try and get me a quote with some rough calculations (which he was suppose to be working on in the interim of our first meeting). The quote was triple the price of the competition, knowing he didn't want to do the job. He could have stated this from the beginning.

I had an extremely disappointing experience with AVI Systems in Draper. From the beginning, their lack of professionalism was evident. They failed to follow up on important details, leaving me constantly in the dark. Their lack of commitment to the project was frustrating, and it became clear that they were not invested in delivering quality results. To make matters worse, I encountered multiple instances where they made untrue and false statements, which significantly eroded my trust in them. I would not recommend AVI Systems to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy service provider.

Overall

I was having numerous problems with my Control4 system controlling my televisions; the inability to stream apps; Roku was inoperable; remote commands not working, etc. To make matters worse, the Super Bowl was airing in a week, and I couldn’t use my big screen TV in my theater room. I called AVI and they dispatched Kevin to come to the home and troubleshoot. He proceeded to identify and fix one problem after another. Some issues proved more challenging than others, but, he never gave up until every single problem, and there were many, was resolved. Besides being a master AV technician and cabling genius, Kevin was the consummate professional. He came back the next day, at no additional charge, because one problem resurfaced. He quickly discovered what he needed to do to fix it permanently. Not only that, but, about a week later, he calls me to make sure everything was still operating properly, which it was. Kevin put an end to years of frustration I was having with my system. I am extremely grateful for him and AVI.

Overall

I am extremely satisfied with my AV upgrade. AVI is transparent and up front in how it conducts business with no hidden surprises. They designed a great solution with quality equipment and an efficient install in a timely manner. Jim was spot on with recommendations and Kevin is a top-notch knowledgeable installation tech who has excellent soft skills. Without hesitation, I will recommend to all.

Our technician Kevin was outstanding. His follow up was both professional and timely. Even though it took us a minute to figure out the receiver problem Kevin stood with us until he was able to engineer the appropriate solution. Great customer service.
