I’ve been a customer since 2017. And I just feel like it’s time for an upgrade. I’ve tried to cancel my account five separate times now and spent countless number of hours on the phone with them and all they do is just keep wasting my time. Everything about this company is shady when it comes to you trying to terminate your account. I no longer have a contract so I don’t understand why as a consumer. I don’t have the right to call and say I don’t wanna do this anymore and they just say OK. Before you sign up so many more options out there Vivint not worth your time

I would give zero stars if I could. I never ever really leave any reviews but our experience with Vivint been horrible. Our sales rep Jeremy made a lot of empty promises, not only to us but multiple people in my neighborhood. The fact that they will tell you anything just to get a sale is infuriating. Not to mention it has been nearly impossible to try to get anyone to help us to cancel our account even though we tried to cancel within the time we were told. DO NOT GO WITH VIVINT!

Our technician Daniel was amazing! He was kind, professional and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and made us feel heard.
The manager Leonard Perez, was the opposite of that. He was rude, condescending and impatient. He talked poorly to the other employees in front of me in person and loudly on the phone in my kitchen. He slowed down the progress of the day and acted as if he were the only one who knew how to do the job. If he had not left to go to lunch I was going to ask him to leave a my home. He is not welcome back. Treating employees like they are stupid is not acceptable. I am a business owner with multiple employees and I would never think of treating another human that way.

Buyers BEWARE!!! The service is ok and definitely has glitches but that isn’t their problem. Attempting to cancel is awful. It took several calls and was a waste of time. We move and I paid off the equipment. I no longer needed it and had to jump through hoops to get my account cancelled, all the while they continue to charge for the monthly service, even though they themselves couldn’t or would cancel. Customer service is awful as well. The reps are nice but it has literally taken me emails, several calls and a few months to get this horrible service cancelled. I wouldn’t recommend Vivint to anyone, please avoid their service like the plague!

I used Vivint for my work location in Sandy. I no longer work at that location and they just billed my credit card almost $700. I have been on the phone 4 different times trying to get a refund and everyone I talk to just sends me to a different department. I will never refer Vivint to anyone and their customer service is one of the worst I have ever experienced.
