Disappointed doesn't even begin to describe my experience. This reupholstered couch was given to me as a wedding gift from a family member. I came back from a trip excited to see it and was Disappointed to find that the quality was poor. With the years this company has been in business, I expected more. There was glue all along the seams of the couch and love seat. I called the lady and she recommended that I bring it back for her to fix it. After explaining that I was no longer in the area, she said and I quote "if there's a Michael's near you, go there and get a glue gun to fix it". I couldn't even imagine that for thousands of dollars a GLUE GUN was what was used to hold the fabric together. I was shocked and at least thought she would offer a partial refund. She did not which is unfortunate. I really expected better work and better customer service.

I was undecided about leaving a review until I saw a previous response that lacked accountability and integrity.

Gave it one star because the fabric was beautiful

Shoddy Workmanship…that’s all this company offers.

We had two pieces of furniture that are near and dear to our family that we wanted to keep for decades to come. We thought this company was best for the job, considering they are called “Best Upholstery”, but unfortunately they are not the best, not even in their customer service. After observing the shoddy workmanship that was performed, there was nothing offered by this company other than a suggestion to go to the store Michaels, to do a DIY. After paying you sooo much money that you hurriedly took upfront, this is what you have to offer? Shame on you. You didn’t even know how to use a glue gun neatly and properly and you are supposed to be the professionals. I gave my family the funds for this service and was appalled during my visit to find what I paid for. Unfortunately I am no longer in the area. If I could give less than one star I would. Based on the pictures provided, as much as you were paid, and the disappointment my family has experienced, a partial refund would be appropriate.

Response: Both pieces of furniture were delivered exactly as the pictures show. One piece of furniture was exactly where you left it and was not moved until after I took these pictures. You acknowledged responsibility on the phone knowing that’s how you delivered the pieces. After paying you thousands of dollars, why would I or anyone in my family try to fix what we paid you to do before calling you? Your company does shoddy work.

I came by the on a rainy day to get my wife styling chair seats reupholster. I met the owner, she was awesome in so many ways. She was able to take my seat and work it out in about 3 days. This was very quick and fast as I do need the chair seat asap. I definitely refer the to all my friends.

I had 6 dining room chair seats (at least 60 years old) and one 40-year-old wing back chair reupholstered. They did an absolutely beautiful professional job; far exceeding my expectations. The dining room chair seats and wing back chair look brand new. You would never suspect they had been reupholstered. My only complaint is the new seat cushion on the wing back chair prevents my feet from touching the floor {LOL}. The furniture was picked up on May 25 and the job was completed on June 7, 2021. I have to say I wasn’t expecting the job to be completed in less than 6 weeks or more. I highly recommend Best Upholstery. They live up to their name.
