Words cannot adequately express my joy at having this incredible feature on my second story deck. We hesitated to spend the considerable cash on this beauty but only wish we had done it years ago. Our deck faces south on Pretty Lake inlet and with no tree cover, is belted by regular high winds and blistering sun. Before the awning, we rarely used it except early morning and as the sun set. Now, it is the most beautiful space in our home in all seasons. You can find us out there even when the wind and rain are light. Bought a small TV, comfortable outdoor furniture, and voila! The perfect living room! Do spring for the auto-retract feature though - it is worth every additional penny. Taylor, Eddy and the entire team at Bigley and Hogshire are true professionals and as an added bonus, now our friends. Another tip: when Eddy gently questions your choice of pattern - listen to him. He took pics of my house and through the miracle of technology, was able to put that pattern on our house. Yuck! A picture is worth a thousand words. And do not settle for another company. Start out with these guys and you will be happy for years to come!

I've had nothing but excellent service from this company since I first contacted them 3 years ago for a quote. Today I had my annual servicing/cleaning done and Israel was amazing! He was professional, polite and efficient! He was able to get a huge stain out of my awning and it looks like new. Highly recommend this company, especially if you get Israel for your annual service!

I recently replaced both of my awnings on the front of my business and I am so glad that I chose this company. From the first phone call my business was handled warmly and professionally by Christine. They came out when they said they would and kept in contact with me about the progress of the material so I had a timeline for my knowledge. Edward provided my the estimate and he was so clear and detailed about my options that I couldn't think of one thing that he missed that I would have asked. Alex was lead on my install job, he and the installation crew were just as friendly and professional as my experience leading up to the final steps. I would absolutely recommend them, and use them again in the future. I would say that this company has the work ethics and business standards that are very rare these days.

INCREDIBLY pleased with the job done by Awnings by Bigley & Hogshire. Taylor Bigley personally drove from Newport News on a SUNDAY to my home in Chesterfield (~2 hours one way) to meet with my contractor in order to make sure that we were all on the same page. This was a fairly large job (for residential) and Taylor and his team did it to perfection! HIGHLY recommend them!! Comments from our friends and family: WOW!!!
