I have used sunbelt rentals for about 15 years. They are very helpful and have almost anything you need as far as construction equipment for rent. They are reasonably priced as well.

Overall

This was going to be 1 star review but because of the people who works there (from office to outside helping crew) including the manager it turns out 5 out of 5-star review. They were very helpful on every step. I wasn't happy with the machinery that I rent but they gave me full refund for that. I lost two business day and some labor fee but at least I didn't lose $600 for a nonfunctional machinery.

Through the mold remediation company I use, First Priority USA, we rented a 40’ articulating arm lift to use in power washing algae from cedar shake shingle steep sloped roof on Saturday, June 27, 2020. The lift was delivered on Friday, June 26.

The lift was perfect for the job though it took about 1 1/2 hours, including trip to Home Depot for 2” X 4” shims to level the lift. Articulating arm does not fully articulate unless unit is level. After that, the lift fully operational, it proved to be the perfect choice for the work which took 5 hours in all to complete.

Lift rent @ $1000.00/day was indeed worth the rental cost which included lift delivery day before work day and return pickup. Though Sunbelt did not pickup until today Tuesday, June 30 and it required multiple phone calls to get the pickup. Efficient return was needed because the house lift was used at is a zero-lot-line home in a small cup-de-sac development of 15 homes.

The house the lift was needed at off Old Chesterbrook Road is a narrow private street and parking is tight. After completion of work the lift was parked on thee street because access to driveway was needed on the following Monday morning for POD delivery to the driveway. Sunbelt Rental location is only 3.5 miles away which is why, I believe, rental price was reasonable but it should have been picked up on Monday, not Tuesday and so many phone calls is frustrating.

Excellant customer service goes a long way. Even though Sunbelt has a strict machine return policy , they try and be as flexible as they can be for their customers. Very Understanding people, and I will surely continue my business with them.
