Rose Electric is a top notch operation. The owner came out, gave me a quote that beat every other quote I got substantially, and scheduled me for service within one week. The job is was quick, well done, and their booking system made it a breeze to pay my deposit and settle up. Will definitely be using Rose in the future.

In hindsight, I REALLY wish I had not used Liam (Rose River Electric).

Liam was hired to do a panel swap and service upgrade from an old fuse panel to a new breaker panel.

The panel replacement seemed to go well until soon after the replacement.

The house lost full power, halting the remodel for 3 weeks. After multiple returns to the house Liam was unable to diagnose the issue and gave up on the house and the project. Liam cited a need for a whole house rewire and the possibility of power surges as the cause.

I consulted another electrician who diagnosed the issue within 5 minutes. The issue was a missing piece in the new electrical panel.

Liam questions the “disappearance” of the piece in the panel. Regardless, even if it somehow did “disappear”, he was never able to diagnose the missing piece as the issue after multiple visits.

According to Liam, to no fault of his own, parts in a brand new HVAC system were burned out during the time of power fluctuations due to the missing panel piece. Liam denies any fault though the HVAC company attributes the cause of burnout to power fluctuations.

Additionally, the breaker panel cover was installed backwards and Liam didn’t think to recommend I ground the copper water pipes with the new panel that were previously grounded and workers were shocked.

Liam setup and installed a max-amp (60 amp) powered Tesla Wall Charger in the most nightmare conditions, having to run conduit across the length and width of the entire house. Through careful planning and meticulous preparation, he did it all in a single day! Would highly recommend, and have already used again!

Separately, he also setup the whole house on an additional layer of surge protection through these new products called “whole home surge protectors” that will help protect the car as well as the rest of the home from a bad lighting hit that would otherwise overflow a normal single socket surge protector. Totally worth it.

We met with Liam last week to go over several electrical projects we are looking to have done. He got three separate quotes back to us later that evening. We hired him today to do the first set of projects, including installing new living room lights (there has never been lighting of any kind in this room). Although we were planning for 2 days, he actually got everything finished early! He did a positively phenomenal job.
