I went in about 6 months ago to buy materials for a built-in that I had designed for my office. It was my first time going outside of the Big Box store to get materials. Greg recommended materials and answered all of my "amateur" woodworker questions. The quality of materials was fantastic and the price was still cheaper than the Big Box store. Additionally, his expertise was the most valuable part. I learned a bunch just by bouncing some thoughts off him and he answered with patience. Thanks for taking the time to help me out, Greg.

If you are looking for a great selection of hardwood in a variety of sizes at fair prices I would highly suggest going to Cygnus Lumber. They have domestic and exotics and everything I have bought is quality. Greg is a woodworker as well, so he understands out needs when building quality products. He also has several live edge slabs and even sources reclaimed lumber at times. There are people selling slabs at low prices, but a lot of those are not dried. All of Greg’s lumber is properly kiln dried and stored correctly. Additionally, they have a large variety of sheet goods. Whether you are a professional or hobbyist I would suggest checking them out. Plus, as an added bonus you are greeted by the coolest shop dog during your visit.

First time meeting Greg back in January, it was late in evening but he was still willing to walk me through picking the perfect Ambrosia for a mantle project. They were the perfect pieces for this project (see pictures)!

Came back to pick out some Cherry wood for a bed project. As before he helped me pick out some stellar pieces! Again, it was the end of his day, yet still made time to put some pieces through his joiner/planner. Thanks Greg for all your help, you have a lifetime customer!
