A truly exceptional experience in every respect. Every member of the Granite Design team we interacted in the planning and installation of our new countertops was super professional, possessed first-class communications skill sets, and were total perfectionists. (The joinery of the two planes in our L-shaped kitchen is nearly impossible to see or feel when you run a finger over it.)

We couldn’t be more pleased. And very much enjoyed having each of them (Matt, Andrew and Josh) in our home. If we could rate 10 stars, we would give Granite Design 11+.

Honest mixed review.
Hands down the absolute worst communication processes I’ve ever encountered but the technical staff and final results were very good.
Template was completed quickly (within a week or two). The template technician was timely and professional. Then the disaster began. This company needs to figure out how to improve communication. We had no less than 10 reschedules over the following two months with excuses ranging from “product delay” to “broken slab” (twice). Notifications were sent via email and we could never get in contact directly with anyone. Email responses often took 3-4 days. There was zero consideration taken for the customer’s time with last minute rescheduling. Not to mention over 2 months without a kitchen that was originally planned around Granite Design USA’s availability for installation. It finally took a call to corporate headquarters and hunting down sales management to get the installation completed (under threat of taking our business elsewhere). The technical installation team was very professional and so far we are happy with the end result. It’s really a shame that a company with good technical staff can deliver such a poor experience overall. I highly recommend taking your countertop business elsewhere.

TERRIBLE customer service. It has taken us WEEKS to get them to acknowledge our deposit. Another two weeks to get someone in for a measurement. We were missing one detail for the template measurement guy and he said, "Well, I gotta go. You'll need to rebook another appointment" even though I could've resolved the issue if he'd just waited 30 minutes. He just left. Now we'll be waiting another two weeks for another template measurement. Then how long after that for installation? OH, and good luck getting anyone to answer the phone. No one calls you back. Worst customer service ever.

This is our second experience using Granite Design USA through Home Depot. Both experiences were great, but I neglected to write a review last time! The slab (Nero Honed black granite) is absolutely gorgeous. The person who came out to measure (Ray) was here for over an hour making sure his layout was perfect. The placement of the areas of "natural movement" was exactly what I had asked for. The installers were conscientious and professional.

I worked with Granite Design USA through Lowes-I was nervous about this process after hearing mixed reviews about going through Lowe's. I picked out my countertop online, after spending many months walking by the sample slab in a local Lowe's store. From the moment I put the deposit down I couldn't be more pleased with the process.

Granite Design was always prompt for appointments, and showed up when they said they would!! From measurement to installation I felt very clued in on what the next steps were, and felt confident this team would deliver excellent results. Both the installation team and template team were amazing to work with, and I couldn't be happier with the results. The seam in my counter is practically invisible, and everything is a beautiful fit.
