Overall

Our design project was to add an addition to an older camp-like structure all within lakeshore measurements and regulations. LCB Design was able to navigate the combination of old and new and make our design look intentional. Even though remodeling can be very stressful, it was fun to work with Carolyn and Leah. They are smart, stylish, kind and professional. They pushed us out of our comfort zone and we now live in a house where a visitor recently remarked, “I think your home is the prettiest I’ve ever been in.”

Carolyn and Leah are the dream team! Their energy and ideas transformed our ‘blah’ space into something we love spending time in! Throughout the process they listened to our ideas and presented wonderful solutions and recommendations on everything from flooring, design, wall color, furniture to bookshelf decor! My wife and I have consulted with LCB for several home improvement projects now: an extensive bathroom renovation, a freshening-up of our main floor, and a light reno of our kitchen.

If you're like us, and design is not your thing, then LCB are there to guide you through the process. They have a strong sense of design and aesthetic and bring lots of experience and ideas to the table. But they also work with you to figure out and incorporate your own tastes and preferences. You never feel like they're pushing a one-size-fits-all solution on you. They also are great at balancing form vs. function while also taking into account project cost. They can advise you on which elements are worth splurging on and which elements can be done in a way that saves you a few bucks here and there. They have extensive professional connections and are great at connecting you with quality contractors and craftspeople.

Having worked with LCB Design Group for 3 projects, I wholeheartedly recommend them.

While building a home or renovating a space can be a daunting task, hiring Carolyn at LCB Design Group was the easiest decision we made. Carolyn's fun and honest approach made me instantly feel like we were in good hands. She's extremely responsive and attentive, and her personalized approach is unmatched. From the initial consult through the finished product, we've so enjoyed working with LCB Design Group. Our favorite project together was the renovation design Carolyn created for our Lake Champlain camp. Her ability to stay within the same building footprint but completely re-think the layout of space was beyond impressive. The space is so functional and beautiful, thanks to Carolyn's incredible skill. If you're looking for design help, whether with a new build or renovating an old space, hire Carolyn and Leah. It'll be the best investment you make.

Over the last few years, we have renovated our kitchen and several bathrooms with LCB Design Group, and I couldn't be happier with the whole process and the end results! We started from scratch, taking each room back to the studs. Carolyn and Leah incorporated my ideas and vision, creating cohesive, functional and beautiful designs for each space. They have great attention to detail, thorough knowledge of the building process and a fantastic and fresh design style.
And on a personal note, I just loved working with Carolyn and Leah! Their energy and creativity made each project so enjoyable!
