John painted a ceiling for me that was water damaged . He did an excellent job skim coated and patch the ceiling as needed. he was also very patient with the customers dog that would not leave him alone. His dog was bringing sticks into the room while he was trying to paint and sand and skim-coat.. But he got the job done and a very professional way, and my customer is very happy with him as was I.

We hired John Brzoza to paint the exterior of our house, the railings and floors of the stoop and the back porch. He first power washed our house and patio. That totally returned our patio back to its original beauty. He replaced the wood trim on two of our windows and added foam insulation in several places. John was very attentive to painting details, with a base coat and at least two final coats on everything. We ran up against cold weather toward the end of the job, but John has promised to finish a few bits in the spring when the warm weather returns. Before beginning, he gave us a detailed and fair contract which we were able to look over for a few days before signing. We are very happy with the results and are planning to use John Brzoza again. -John and Judy Bastille

Last year, John and Jack did a great job on the exterior of our house and windows, with attention to detail we really appreciate. We thought our garage doors would need replacing but they repaired and finished them beautifully. They kept everything very clean.
This spring we hired Tones and Hues again to paint our garage ceiling, walls, cabinets and epoxy the floors. The change is beyond words, it looks absolutely fantastic, and the cherry on top is the beautiful shiny epoxy floors. John was recommended to us by a contractor and we are so thankful that we hired John to do work in our 100 year old home. First off, he is a hard worker, is honest and trustworthy. He is very personable and is very knowledgeable about his craft! He was able to make our old plaster walls look and feel like new before he painted them. There were times when he made suggestions based on his experience and we are very pleased with the results. He did work on a closet, a stairway, a pantry, bathroom and bedroom. Tones and Hues did several projects for us. The power washing of our decks and siding was done professionally all the while protecting our landscaping. We are happy with the wallpaper removal and the painting of several rooms that also needed a great deal of repair work.

John is a very pleasant fellow, and was very eager to produce a satisfactory result. The crew was professional and respectful. The extraordinary clean-up of the work area was greatly appreciated.

The cost was very reasonable and we would be happy to use them again.
