My simple advice is to stay away from this business.
First, there is no voicemail. Seriously, a business that does not have voicemail? The owner does not respond to texts and does not answer the phone when called.
The owner took my $500 deposit and went silent. Weeks went by with no response. Cold as a stone.
I canceled the order and he tells me I have to wait until he receives the money back from the fabric company.
I can't make this stuff up.

I just wanted to share, these guys are fantastic! My elderly mother who is finiky about alot, loves when they come to put her awning up every year for the past 13 plus! They never leave a mess, so quiet she didn't notice they were even here. Kind, professional and absolute joy. Having it put up for the season and then taking down has always been a great experience. This awning is the only awning we've ever needed! No rips or tears. Try them for yourself! You won't be disappointed!

I would give them 0 stars as they had set up an appointment to come look at the job to provide and estimate. They were a no show and no call. They set up another appoint, no show, no call. They set up a 3rd appointment, no call, no show. Two other awning companies showed up and one of them will get my business even though they are not as local as Green Mountain Awning.
If a company has 3 chances to show up for an appointment but doesn't, that gives me no confidence that they will be able to complete the job in a timely manner.

This business seems to get high ratings on facebook for expensive awning work. I would limit your requests to this as I have had a bad experience with a minor sewing job which they said they would do for me in June. I brought a torn car seat in to be repaired and they said they would call me when done. After about two weeks no call received. I made several attempts over the last 4 months to contact them as the shop is never open. I also made several stops and like I said, never open. I have repeatedly called and the voicemail promised a call back but I have never received one. Meanwhile I have to consider that I will never get my property back and will have to buy another expensive $200 set of seat covers to replace one that is ripped. If you have an expensive awning job I would recommend you do business but they do not like to do small sewing repair jobs. By the way, I also ran into a couple who were having the exact same problem with a boat cover which they brought in during the summer. Very poor business practice.
