Be careful who you do business with

Insight as a company works hard on keeping up a positive reputation towards existing and potential new customers.

The company claims to go by the motto of "doing what's right" and "customers first, Pest control second" which itself is admirable and not bad at all.

Technicians are humans too and do have a life outside the workplace. Life does at times throw a curveball and has changes.
As a company who claims to do what's right and caring for their employees it seems that all that immediately comes to a screeching halt when events in an employees life happen which lead to relocation across the country.

Being told in meetings that whoever is putting in their 2 weeks notice will be let go immediately due to the assumption that the enthusiasm and effort for the workplace is not present anymore is discouraging and instills distrust in employees.
Giving a 30+ day notice regardless of those information provided during meetings shows that employees do care more about the company and their customers than the company seems to do towards their employees.
Also informing direct supervisors about the accumulated PTO (50+ hours) which has been enough to cover the time frame from the last work day as technician to the end of the pay period was agreed upon to use for it to make the relocation for this employee easier and less stressful.

Turns out that it all was a lie and upper management seems to have decided to simply NOT pay the accumulated PTO and treat it like it doesn't even exist.

Further more does it seem to be "normal" to not even respond to any sort of communication (whether it is email or text messages to HR or upper management) regarding information as to why the PTO is withheld and employees are being deceived and deprived of what they saved up in case circumstances require the use of it to make things easier.

Meanwhile during employment it seems to be that harassment and discrimination is encouraged and if addressed it is downplayed or silenced with intimidation tactics.

As of today I have not seen any PTO payout nor heard anything from anyone from Insight Pest Solutions.
Almost like "out of sight- out of mind"

If that is the meaning of "doing what's right" then the definition of "right" seems to vary a lot.
