We were looking for a quartz vanity top for our guest bathroom. The slabs we saw didn't do much for us until we saw a Brazilian quartzite slab at Granite & Marble Specialties. It is sold by the square foot (which makes it quite affordable) and is beautiful. Our countertop was irregular but they were able to cut it in one piece. It was very heavy and it took five guys to carry it to the second floor bathroom. It fit perfectly and looks fantastic. The installers did a great job and left the work area clean and tidy. This is our go-to supplier for our future upgrades.

I want to thank Connie my sales representative for her expert knowledge about the different types of stone and her patience with me while it took me a few weeks to decide on my final stone material. The nice thing is Connie told me they can start scheduling my job for measurements and I had up to the day of measurements to choose my stone. I couldn't wait to see the final product in my kitchen. We started with a small project of remodeling our laundry room. Despite being a small project we received the same treatment and "white glove" service as if we were getting our entire house done. My wife and I were thoroughly pleased with the entire experience we had at Granite and Marble Specialties. We were referred to them by friends who spoke highly of the company.
We visited the Kent location. Emily, our sales rep, was knowledgeable, helpful and provided us with quick and accurate information.
As the process unfolded, we needed to make some adjustments (Our plans changed as is our project evolved.) Emily was “Johnny on the spot” in facilitating the changes. If she was unable to meet us when we came in, she had a co worker queued up and ready to take care us.
Each phase of their process was on time and done by extremely competent people.
Eddie and the rest of the installation crew knew their business. There were specific challenges to installing our island top. Eddie and company took time to formulate the best plan of attack before skillfully executing it.
A few weeks after the install, we did have a dime size chip (which was saved for the repair). We contacted Emily who had a repair guy out in short order. The repair took just a few minutes and was so well done, we couldn’t tell you exactly where the chip was.
Needless to say, we highly recommend Granite and Marble Specialties.

During our kitchen remodel project, we decided to use Quartz stone and based on a review we read on our Neighborhood Group app, we visited Granite and Marble Specialties in Kent, WA. and couldn't be more satisfied. From start to finish, the whole process was perfect. Selene, our Rep, was a pleasure to work with. This was our first experience using Quartz and we couldn't be happier.

The precision that was required to make these large pieces of Quartz fit the first time, required professionals who knew how to do their job. We have an old house (1940's) without a straight wall anywhere and some complicated angles and we wondered how they could make it all fit. Watching them take measurements with their laser measuring tools was a first for me and when the installers were able to make everything fit, it was pretty amazing. When the installers installed our first under the counter stainless steel sink we have ever had, that was pretty impressive too. Going from an old tile countertop/backsplashes to a Quartz counter top and backsplashes without a single seam, was a nice finishing touch to our new kitchen. Goodbye grout, hello Quartz!

We chose the Pental Quartz MISTERIO slabs and can certainly recommend Quartz as a countertop and backsplash material. It has held up wonderfully and is easy to clean.

We are very happy with their service and the countertops/backsplashes and we are glad to recommend Granite & Marble Specialties for all of your countertop needs.

We had the tile countertops in the kitchen and powder room replaced with Quartz stone by Granite and Marble Specialties, Kent location, at a competitive price. The whole process went very smoothly! Kurt, the owner; Steve, the scheduler; the template specialist; and the installers they all were very nice and professional.
The work was done on time and did not take long as I thought. The demolition of the old countertops and installation of the new ones just took about five hours. The curves of the inside corners were so smooth and elegant. There was just one slab for the counter with the sink. On the other side, two pieces were joined, the cut ran from the back to the front, right at the center, of the cooktop. The seam at the joint was nearly invisible so I had to point it out to my husband. The team of three installers Cirro, Cirlo and Jose did a fantastic job. It was beyond my expectation. They were very pleasant, nice, and hardworking people. The leadman always assured me everything would be looking nice by saying to me “Don’t worry …mam…”. They cleaned up afterwards leaving no mess behind.
The follow up call by Steve showed that the company was taking good care of their customers. That was great! Thank you, Steve, and G&MS.
We are very happy with the service and our new countertops. We received many compliments from our adult children and relatives.
