Badillo Landscaping did an excellent job! Hugo is a talented businessman with a keen eye for design. We conveyed our ideas and he took care of the rest. His team delivered a 5-star service and their work is highly commendable.

Update: Have to lower my rating on this review about a month later due to some issues.

So after they sealed the patio we noticed it was not sealed properly and the sand between the pavers was loose and coming out.

At first glance everything looked great, but when you take a really good look you can see some of the pavers were cut incorrectly and don’t line up well.
Some pavers along the edge are already starting to loosen.

We contacted Hugo about our concerns and asked if he can come see what we had issues with so he can see if he can do anything to fix it. Hugo is a horrible communicator and sometimes does not respond to our messages. When he does, he says that he will come by and never does. At first he was great to work with but I see now that was just to get our business. After that, not a very good business person.

Hugo and the team at Badillo Landscaping went above and beyond! They nailed exactly what we were looking to get done and did it very quickly. The price was reasonable as well.

The team even did extras without us asking, like pressure washing our back patio and our entire driveway, de-weeding our front mulch area, and even leveling out our side access to our backyard since it’s on a slant.

We will 100% be using Badillo for our next landscaping needs!

Hugo and his crew did an outstanding job of completely redesigning our front yard. They removed our lawn, installed a paver design in the center of the yard with a paver walkway to our back yard.
They then installed artificial lawn around the design and redesigned all of our flower beds.
We were very happy with the crew.
It was great that Hugo understood our vision and was able to enhance that vision.

I would say this was a journey, but it was over before I would have ever thought possible! I received bids and ideas from numerous companies but the one that stood out was Badillo Landscaping! The owner, Hugo, was a pleasure to work with from start to finish. I gave him an idea and explained that landscaping is totally out of my wheel house and that I I trust his expertise and boy did it pay off! I wish I could leave more than 5 stars! We requested a free estimate and were pleasantly surprised with how friendly, knowledgeable, and on time (early!) they were. Very competetive pricing for what we wanted to have done (trees, landscaping, power washing, yard clean up, etc). Had our entire project completed in 2 days, and we are in love! Badillo Landscaping exceeded our expectations in all areas of service. They installed a parking area adjacent to the street and made repairs and improvements to our irrigation system. Friendly and professional, very prompt and efficient! In addition to the work agreed, they went above and beyond, cleaning our planting beds and pressure washing our walkway. They had great ideas which enhanced the results beyond what we originally envisioned. We could not have been more pleased with the result and recommend them highly! I can't say enough good things about Hugo and his team. We hired Badillo Landscaping to install a retaining wall, sod, sprinklers, fix our broken driveway and put in a paver patio / fire pit in our back yard - everything they did looks amazing! We had 2 other quotes from other landscapers, and Hugo was able to offer much more at a fair price. He is a man of his word and I trusted him when he told me he was going to make our yard look beautiful - I couldn't be happier with the results. All my friends and neighbors want to hire him! Superior Work! As Veterans, we value quality service, integrity in a company’s promise, and man’s word in business. Hugo with Badillo Landscaping delivered in every way. This was our experience. We were looking for a local company to renovate our yard here in Lacey, WA earlier this Summer. A friend of ours recommended Badillo Landscaping after his neighbor hired Hugo for their property renovation in Steilacoom, WA. We wanted a functional backyard that could be used year-round, and Hugo paid close attention to our vision and needs in how we wanted to spend time in our backyard during the initial consultation. It did not take a long to see why he is referred as “The Artist” in his profession. Hugo was meticulous in every detail with our project and his workers were professional and efficient in every step. His company came through with their promise to complete a quality job within the proposed timeline, and there were a couple of late nights to ensure the job was going to be complete on time before our Granddaughter’s first birthday. My yard never looked better with a great functional space and beautiful design. Our yard is now the ideal place for family time and the preferred place for our Veteran group for cookouts. Hugo and his team did an excellent job transforming our dirt backyard into a peaceful low maintenance/safe oasis. We moved to a 55+ community in Lacey WA from our previous home of 45+ years. We are in our 70s and wanted the design to allow for even safe footing and wheel chair accessibility “if” the situation arises. Hugo transported several large container planters with mature shrubs from our previous home and delivered them to our new home to be incorporated into the landscape; he laid a lovely paver patio for us and arranged for the concrete sidewalks and patio extension to be poured around both sides of our home. Hugo and his team also installed a small section of beautiful artificial turf, built two small flower beds using paver stones, installed a drip system to water the plants using a timer, and did several in ground planting of additional shrubs and perennial flowers. Hugo and his team were always respectful of us, our property, our somewhat tight landscaping budget, and readily pivoted on the design as needed. From start to finish he completed our project within 6 business days. We are pleased with the finished project and highly recommend Badillo Landscaping. We have received several inquiries from our neighbors asking to see our backyard and wanting to know who transformed it. We readily share Hugo’s contact information and allow neighbors looking to hire a landscaper see the “quality”work he did for us.
