Our experience was awesome! The initial meeting we had with Andrew was very informative, he answered all our questions and really put us at ease with the whole process. When the project began, Patrick was fabulous about communicating all the steps and exact timeline. Erick and his crew did such an amazing job installing our roof and skylight! Overall, I would highly recommend working with the folks at Guardian!

To be fair, I do not know what their actual service is like, beyond a single quote and a few phone calls with the owner.

Here's a recap of my story.
In 2022 I asked for a quote to install some roof vents.
After their rep had done his evaluation and left, he called later to ask if he could stop by with the numbers. The quote was around $800.
Asked him to put me on the schedule.
He couldn't because he had forgotten his laptop, so the office would email the proposal.

They did the next day. Now it was just over $2000...
Blamed the "new" guy, and wouldn't honor the price I was quoted. Offered me 10% off instead.
(Still over double the original quote)
Had a few, well deserved, choice words and got someone else to do it. The new company honored Guardians original quote.
A yelp review got a response from the owner on yelp, apologising and asking for me to reach out to them.
(Looks good the the review reader , right?)
In 2023 I decided to give them another chance.
This time a roof cleaning.
Made an appointment. They texted me the day before the appointment to confirm, as well as the next morning...
I get a phone call a few hours before the scheduled time, telling me they have to cancel it. Something about their estimator had something come up, and they didn't have any one else to cover it.

This year...
Roof really needs cleaning now...

I'm not happy with the past, but if they are offering it at a good price, why should I pay more. So, I swallow my pride and call...

Guess what? We have gone back in time...
Rather than rewrite it.
Just re-read the last account, because they did and said the exact same thing...

Don't ask me why, I still don't know myself, but I tried ONE MORE TIME.... (I feel really stupid for it looking back)

I just bought a new house that needed a roof.
Remember, I have no interest in loosing out on a good deal because of pride.

So I called.
Glad I was sitting down for this one...

I was told that they couldn't seem to make me happy, and were going to have to refer my business elsewhere...

I have never had a company refuse me service before.
This was a first. And to do it because of their mistakes???

I've been trying to let this go.
It hasn't been easy with hearing their ads on the radio everyday. But the coupons in the mail, addressed to me take the cake.

I called and asked them to stop sending me stuff, especially if they won't do business we me. (Come on guys, what's the point?!?)

Just got another coupon in the mail the other day....

Just stop, PLEASE

The only explanation I have ever gotten, was their reply to my review on Yelp.
It read like damage control.
Yes there are two sides to every story, they just don't have any interest in telling me, or anyone else, their side...

They started with a thorough inspection of my roof and chimney complete with photos. They explained what work needed to be done and why. They provided updates along the way during the project. All of their crews were friendly, professional, and cleaned up after their work. I received comprehensive before and after photos of all the work. Their customer service was really great throughout the whole project. They are always ready to answer your questions and provide more information.

Travis performed a full maintenance on my roof. We had an annual maintenance service done in 2020 when we first bought the home (No moss was growing then so they were also able to treat it) but after almost 4 years a small amount of moss started growing on the north side of our roof and under a smart vent. Our detached garage that we plan to tear down also was getting quite a bit of moss (but was not priority due to how old the roof is). We had the entire roof washed and treated and Travis was even able to complete the garage roof which looks SO MUCH BETTER!!!!!!! Our roof(s) look amazing and we're so excited to have another few years back on them! Guardian can be considered 'high priced' but not if you care about quality workmanship, attention to detail, and customer service. They are worth every penny!!! **Dont have a full after photo of my main roof but lots of progress photos!! Love the gallery they sent me of everything!

1. Ease of appointments: 2/5
- I was excited they offered online booking. Filled out all information and picked a date on their calendar, but got a call 5 minutes later where I had to repeat and spell all the info I already gave them, and then was told the day I picked wasn't available.
- I got two messages saying the work was delayed, so it wouldn't be s started until the next week. I moved things around to leave the following week free, but then someone showed up to do the work the next day anyway with one hour of warning
2. Initial Consult: 5/5
- The person who assessed the work was knowledgeable and took pictures to show all of the work that needed to be done
3. End result: 3/5
- The new gutters look good. There was an issue where water was still dripping down behind the gutters, which they mentioned after the work was done. They said they'd have a supervisor come out to take a look because they didn't know what the cause was.
- I got a phone call a few hours later asking me to pay the balance. I explained someone was supposed to contact me about the dripping issue, and I'd like to pay once I know there's no more work that needs to be done to fix it. They said there's already a note in my account about the issue.
- Over the next ten days, I received 4 phone calls, 5 texts, and 10 emails telling me I have a past due balance. No one checked back about the weird dripping. When I texted to ask when a supervisor would come out to look at it, I was told they could send someone out for a consultation about the issue, but I need to pay my balance.
- I then received multiple texts with a "past due" balance that was different from the amount on my invoices.

Overall, the people doing the work seem knowledgeable, but there was too much miscommunication and overall chaos in the process. This isn't a mom-and-pop business like it seems on their website. I'll be looking at other companies about the ongoing dripping issue.

Guardian provided me a very professional inspection and very clear on explaining the requirements of the repairs of the roof. They provided me the options and was willin to talked to the HOA which is a bonus for them! Coordibations from office to site was very thorough. Project team leader was very clear on the schedule for me though it was quite bit of rain that week. The crew from Guardian roofing did a fantastic jobs and all the staffs working on the deck were very polite, paid attention to safety especially my roof was very slippery. They kept the site very clean after their work.

Santiago came out this morning, a bit early, and inspected my roof to make sure everything was done and my project was completed! I watched him and was so happy when he came down and told me there was just two minor roofing caps he needed to fasten down, but everything looked great! The chimney, gutters and downspouts looked clean and well done.

He fastened the two roofing caps down, showed me pictures and explained the process of how the moss preventative had been put on my roof, picked his ladder back up and left. All within a half hour’s time period! So efficient and informative he was!

I felt so reassured and happy that this project was done with such professionalism! I would definitely recommend Guardian Roofing to anyone who is in need of any chimney, roofing and/or cleaning projects done by a reputable company! They are completely thorough, economical and professional, not counting helpful and informative!
