Same experience as this review below. Absolutely the same story except an email an hour before my appointment at 4pm and there was no attempt to reschedule, no replies to my phone calls, no return emails, no voicemails, no response to any texts, just a late message reply on their message board asking to reschedule.

Previous Review:
Not a good first impression from this company. I went online to their website and scheduled an estimate. They were supposed to come out to my home and do the estimate at 6 pm yesterday. At around 5 pm, an hour before the appointment, I received an automated email from them stating that they had canceled my appointment and rescheduled it for the following Monday afternoon.....at a time when I wouldn't even be available. No phone call from them. No apology. No explanation. No asking what time would work best for me for rescheduling. Nope..they sent an automated email. Doesn't get more unprofessional than that. I wouldn't do business with a company that is this unreliable. It just gives me insight on what I'd have to deal with in the future.

I recently used Wolf and Sons Landscaping for a demolition project in Auburn, WA. I called them and they answered. I asked for a quote and received a demolition quote in two hours. Their quote pricing was very competitive but it was my sense of reliability that I had in them and I picked them. They were on site two days later and demo’d the building. Cleaned up everything as quoted. Professional and employees with smiles on their faces. Great company and will use again.

Chris and his workers installed a new cedar fence (quite a big one for a residence) and redid our backyard with reshaping and new sod. Fantastic job! I used Google review to help find landscaping/hardscaping companies, and selected Wolf and Sons as part of my top list of companies to request quotes from for a new paver patio, sod and sprinkler installations. Although Google rated this company at 4.4 overall at the time of my review, I thought the company deserved a higher rating after looking at the one/two star reviews from those associated with an ex-employee of the company. At the end of the review/quote process, I chose Wolf and Sons because their price, warranty, and scheduling were overall better than the other companies.

My landscaping/hardscaping project took two weeks to complete. Their employees were not only prompt and on time daily, but also started and completed the job earlier than quoted. In total, we are very pleased with the quality of their work, and now enjoy our outdoor living space a lot.

If I had to give a critique, the only one I had was on the placement of some pavers during the install. However, some of the problem was due to me and my lack of vision in not knowing exactly what I wanted in the design layout. Fortunately, the employees were very accommodating and adjusted to what I requested as the install progressed. Also, after discovering a problem with some pavers a few days after the work was completed, the company quickly came back and fixed it.

Based on my experience with this company, I would definitely use them again and also, recommend them to others.

We hired Wolf & Sons based on the great landscaping work they did at our neighbor's yard. The landscaping work they did at our house was great quality but the fencing work was a bit rushed and was not completed to the level that our original fence was. Specifically they did not complete the fencing with the Simpson Strong-Ties that the fence was initially built with and just angle-nailed everything together. Additionally they did not build our new gate with a Z brace as all of our other gates are done and used untreated wood for new construction. Understood that fencing can be done many ways but we assumed that the minimum level of work would be to the existing level. Our initially scheduled work window of a few days was dragged out over several weeks due to other jobs running long and staff shortages. We understand that these things happen but we would have appreciated better communication of the schedule changes and delays. Would still recommend Wolf & Sons to others but would suggest scheduling in the early spring to avoid delays and schedule complications.

I had trouble reseeding my own lawn and could never get it to thicken. With a ton of moss removal and good watering schedule the last 4 weeks, it is really growing great. The crew came out promptly in the morning and did the full maintenance within 4 hours. That also included installing a rock fence boarder.

I am very pleased with the results they did in 4 hours that I failed to achieve the last two years. The only downside in this process was the length of time to start the work. I would have preferred to have it done earlier in the spring to give the new grass a better chance of surviving the summer. I’m not going to lower the rating because of this. They do great work and are in high demand because of it. I will call them again for future work.

They did a large project quickly -- within a few days. The finished product was fantastic except for a few bad pieces of sod. But after a couple of discussions, they eventually came back over to replace the defective pieces at no extra charge. The yard now looks amazing and we've received many compliments on it! Wolf and Sons is as good as it gets. I had been planning to seed my yard but after all the work I did in prepping for seed, I decided just to get a few quotes for sod. Chris responded to my quote request immediately and was out the same day. He gave me an unbelievable deal.

Chris gets his sod from Olympia because he pays attention to the quality. He did some amazing stone work for me to seal the deal and even threw in some extra pieces of flag stone that he had left over. He worked with my schedule and came and completed the job quickly and efficiently. His team pays attention to detail and they don't cut corners. They also do tree work so my neighbors got some work done while they were out working on my lawn.

Save yourself the hassle and just have Wolf and Sons do the job. They are hard workers who aren't just trying to make a quick buck. They care about quality. They are great at communicating. They are super affordable and they are great guys.

And I now have the nicest yard in the neighborhood thanks to these guys.
