When scheduling a home inspection I had no expectations, someone will come and look. The end. Instead I had one of the most delightful human interactions I could have imagined. Mike is quality - from his approach to work to how he engages with his clients. Mike was incredible. We had a tight schedule and he worked with us. He did a great job, providing a keen eye and an appreciated measure of common sense. He saw some little things we were able to take care of in short order, and even after he was done and paid, when we updated him on some of the issues we addressed, he continued to be responsive and helpful - just a terrific, knowledgeable and courteous professional. I wouldn't expect to enjoy working with an inspector, but Mike proved me wrong. I'd recommend him for anyone listing or buying a home. He's the best!

My home inspection with Mike was top notch: he was professional, personable, and very, very thorough. Mike’s previous construction management experience lends itself well to home inspections, and his depth of knowledge on all aspects of the inspection was very impressive. Mike answered all of my questions with clear explanations and useful suggestions, with emphasis on safety concerns. I particularly appreciated that he didn’t sugar coat any issues he found so that I understood exactly what I need to deal with right away and what I can plan for down the line.

Less than 24 hours after the inspection, Mike emailed his report. It very detailed and clearly explained all of the issues we had discussed in person along with with clearly organized priorities and recommendations. The report included many photographs and descriptions, which will be very helpful for continued use as a reference document.

I would absolutely recommend Homebase Home Inspections to anyone looking for a thorough, professional, reasonably priced home inspection.

Mike is professional, thorough, pleasant, and very knowledgeable. He got to my house early, and before I knew it he off and running - on the roof, in the attic, and all along willing to walk me through what he was doing and what he was seeing.

Mike is absolutely the best! He is sharp, talented and knows how to think outside the box. He was recommended to my by my exterior painter to assess couple areas of water damage. Even though he typically does full house inspections out of consideration he agreed to stop by the following day which in itself speaks volumes and attests to his character. Despite not expecting to be paid he was completely thorough in examining and analyzing the problem which had stumped other 'specialists'. Of course I couldn't help but pay him for his consultation for which he was very gracious. Overall I found Mike to be bright, punctual, professional, detail-oriented, and personable. He followed up with a detailed summary of his assessment and the corrective work that was needed. I endorse him with my highest recommendations.

I met Mike on a recommendation, and was very impressed with his flexibility, professionalism, knowledge, and warm attitude. I worked with him through four separate inspections, and each time he showed up early to begin work before I even arrived at the property.

Not afraid to get dirty, Mike would take steps that other inspectors didn't bother to do, revealing important considerations in doing so.

Mike's affordable work identified minor issues that I would never have noticed, but that needed short-order attention, saving me from major expenses down the line.
