I highly recommend Reis and Inside Out Building Inspection. Reis completed our new construction inspection back in 2015 when we were buying our home. He was phenomenal to work with -- hugely knowledgeable and informative. I took Washington's Home Inspection training and licensing course and field experience from Inside Out Building Inspection and passed the National Home Inspector Exam (NHIE) on the first attempt with a 92% in the national content area including building science, analysis & reporting, and business operations. Reis Pearson, who holds a Masters in Education, has an eye for detail and knows what is important not only during home inspections, but also the ins and outs of operating a successful home inspection business, and all with a great sense of humor! I am a first time home buyer that was referred to Reis at Inside Out by a friend that had used their services. Reis was very responsive via email throughout the process of setting up the inspection. I was on site for the entire inspection and Reis took the time to educate me on all of the systems of my home, provided maintenance tips, and discussed the priority of getting certain items remediated. The report was extensive and thorough. After the inspection was completed, Reis even took the time to help me understand some of the aspects of the report so I could better negotiate with the seller.
