BKD Drywall has been a great experience for us so far!

Not only were they less than half the price some of the other contractors bid (some should be ashamed, honestly), but they were willing to work with us in ways few others would consider.

For example, they allowed us to install the drywall and agreed to a price beforehand, not altering it when they noticed some of our amateur mistakes. Instead, they educated us on where we went wrong and added even more value when they agreed to come back for additional touch ups (not previously discussed) after the project is finalized.

In addition to maintaining their original price despite the curveballs, they made no money on the materials, were courteous, punctual, and professional throughout. Daniel, presumably the owner, communicated any coming and going and made an extra effort to keep everything around the project clean. His crew required no additional support and they finished right on time.

Most important, having just painted this weekend, they did great work! No seams are visible despite many uneven joints and two different wallboards used (rock board for foundation contact, gypsum above).

Highly recommend BKD Drywall for anyone in the market, they will not disappoint!

We couldn't be happier we went with BKD Drywall and Daniel for repairing our drywall and replacing the knockdown texture with smooth texture in our old Tacoma home. Daniel absolutely crushed it. The texture is beautiful and makes the house feel like new, while still feeling authentic. Daniel was able to come by within a day to give a reasonable quote, start work within a week, and finish on schedule. He even helped us complete a two-tone paint in our living room. Plus Daniel is very nice and easy to work with. If you're on the fence, we highly recommend!

Daniel from BKD Drywall was brought in by the roofing company we were working with to do the drywall on our new skylights. Not only does Daniel do excellent quality work (he matched the texture of our existing ceiling so well that you can’t tell where the old drywall ends and the new begins), he’s also very friendly, professional, and communicative. He kept us informed and updated every step of the way and finished all three skylights quickly. He also cleaned up at the end of each workday and thoroughly cleaned when he wrapped up the project, which is just goes to show how much care he takes to provide great service. BKD Drywall did a great job hanging and finishing drywall in a challenging room that has a lot of weird angles, some questionable framing, and is at the top of a narrow and twisting staircase. They worked around our schedule and were extremely communicative and professional even though it was probably a very small job for them. Pricing was fair and the price quoted was what was charged even though there were some unexpected challenges that came up. Would definitely use them again in the future if needed!
