Have worked with the staff for a couple issues with our new gate and they've made it very clear that they care about their customers' satisfaction. The last person who came out when our lock mechanism want working properly, Derek, spent an hour with us to get it back on track, then came back again to add another piece and further ensure we had the security expected. Thank you for working with us as we learned about what makes a security gate secure.

Anther big shout out to Steven at Automated Gates, once again he saved the day for us and helped us out to fix an issue when a contractor broke the gate. Steven knows his stuff and always goes above and beyond to resolve any issue. We’ve used them for 16 years and have always had great service from the entire team at Automated Gates.
Thank you for the great service.

Adonis came out to service our gate which we had neglected for a few years. He explained all the important parts to me while he worked and gave me his honestly opinion on the condition. There was a part I was considering replacing but he told me it was still in good shape and didn't try to upsell me which I appreciated. That kind of service makes it very likely I use Automated Gates and Equipment again.

Our experience with Automated Equipment has been nothing short of exceptional. As members of the UW Formula Motorsport team, we were fortunate to have Automated Equipment sponsor the bending of our main roll hoop. Brian, the president, stood out with his outstanding communication and genuine interest in our project. The work was completed with precision and high-quality craftsmanship, meeting safety standards, and they ensured timely delivery, allowing our team to continue preparations without any setbacks. We wholeheartedly recommend Automated Equipment for their professionalism, expertise, and unwavering support in the realm of metal fabrication.

It was a stressful interaction getting Automated Gates to install our new gate at our condominums. They expected us to do most of what they considered "extraneous" work including hiring and scheduling an electrician (even though we didn't know when they would need him,) and doing all of the permitting process with the city. Our project manager, Miranda, was a horror to work with.
The whole project took a year longer than the 9 months we were led to expect. We put blamed most of the burden on Covid and tried to move on. The gate was great the first few months, which were summer through early fall.
But the minute it started to really rain, the gate began malfunctioning regularly, trapping people/vendors on both sides. For months we tried to work with AG to get this situation resolved and not have people climbing the gate to get the reflector wiped off (it doesn't work when it gets wet and/or foggy). They came out and adjusted the sensor in December and charged us nearly $400. And it did nothing to fix the problem. We've used our own goofy stuff to try to keep the reflector dry and working.
Come to find out, they knew about this issue, had other properties with this issue, and didn't tell us. Now after months of talking to them they told us we could buy something off of Amazon and we were "on our own."
Pretty expensive outlay for something with a part that doesn't work in the rain--and they've been doing business in the NW for decades? Very poor result. We are consulting an attorney at this point.
I have written this review under a pseudonym--I see replies from the company on other bad reviews, and they seem quite aggressive.
