I would give this company a zero star rating if I could. When I had the original call to get a quote I was quoted for a 2 hour move. The two people that they sent to move my apartment took over 7 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment that was fully packed. I called All My Sons midway through the move to express my concerns and no action was taken. They moved slow on purpose and at one point said to one another "the slower we go the more we will get paid" The two movers took one item at a time and made inappropriate comments about myself and my stuff throughout the move that made me feel very uncomfortable. The two movers were super unprofessional: dropped multiple items, scratched my walls, and after they finished sat on my furniture and went into my fridge without permission to look for water / snacks. Whenever they would drop or bump into something they would laugh and say "haha oops!" After the move I called All My Sons to express my concerns and I was told they could not refund me for the move or take any action because the two movers they sent were government contracted. This completely ruined my move experience and I will never use then again or recommend them to anyone.

Horrible and deceptive. When I made the appointment for the move I was told that the movers would have all the tools to assemble furniture. When they actually moved my stuff I was told that they couldn’t assemble my bed because they didn’t have the tools and they asked me for tools. I’ve hired several different moving companies over the years and I’ve never run into issues with movers assembling furniture. Now I have to hire someone else to put together the bed, as I’m in a new city and don’t know anyone. Incredibly frustrating. Oh, and my furniture was also scratched and chipped in the move, despite it already being wrapped up by the movers who initially put my furniture in the storage unit.

Update: Reached out to the customer care line they posted in response to this review, haven't heard anything, not even a confirmation that they received my message, in over a week.

TL;DR - Check your receipt for wrong charges, use this company if you want your things moved quickly but not super carefully.

The movers that showed up to help me were friendly and fast. Not super careful, as they damaged the wall and railing on the stairs of the place I was moving out of. I didn't sweat it because I was coming back to do a spackle, sand, and paint pass to repair all the picture hanging holes from when I lived there.

Down side is there's paint on some of my stuff as it was transferred from the walls and railing to my belongings.

The metal legs on an entertainment center were bent as they put all the weight on those two legs as they moved it off the dolly. I bent them back as best I could.

At the end of the move the movers were standing around trying to get ahold of their boss so I could pay them the final amount. I confirmed with them that the clock had stopped so I wasn't getting charged. Logan (the boss) finally gets on the phone, and I requested an invoice, or summation of the charges to review and make sure I'm paying the correct amount, as I provided my own moving materials and worked very hard to streamline the move. He tells me that he CAN'T generate an itemized bill until I pay him (an obvious lie), but I consider how well rated the company is and just pay him.

I later check the receipt and find I was charged for extra time, and packing materials I didn't use.

After being told Logan would get back to me a few times when calling the office, he finally calls me back.

I explain the discrepancy in the charge, and at first he's confused. It seems the system "automatically" added the materials charge for $80.00 (his words). Slightly concerning that they are automatically charging me for things I didn't use, but ok. He then proceeds to argue that the time the truck left is the time they go by, nevermind that the guys explicitly told me they were waiting on him to take payment so that they can leave. After some polite but firm insistence he agrees to remove all the extra charges.

Not my best moving company experience, but certainly not my worst.

Best moving experience! Lucky to grab a next-day appointment. AMS company was quick to notice a cancellation and get me on the schedule. BIG thanks to their customer support team. They provided detailed instructions and were helpful every step. User friendly Interface, I appreciated the way the platform is organized. The BIGGEST thanks to Kelsey and Isaac - super heroes that saved the day! One particularly challenging piece (paired with limited space, SEVERAL stairs, multiple corridors) I really appreciated their communication with each other while maneuvering the obstacles of my apartment complex.
