I needed a new garage door opener. John came over with a new person that he was training. I don't know if these guys work on commission or if John was trying to impress his new trainee but I ended up paying almost $1,000. I told them that I was not going to be living in my house much longer and just wanted a basic opener. I was told the amount and I have never had to get a new garage opener before so I believed that this was the range. I should have asked for them to leave (and pay the $50 for them to walk to the door). After installation, I found out that I received a garage door with a camera (for what? to watch the garage door open and close?) and that it works with Wi-Fi (who needs this? as long as there is a button to push in the garage and an opener in the car?). I don't believe that this is a basic garage door opener and feel very taken advantage of. Be careful with this guy.

John was absolutely fantastic and personable! The company must really love their employees because they gave us some information on Johns interests before he came and it gave us something to talk about! John came in for an estimate and ended up giving us a really good price to fix our garage springs rod and hinge! Looking forward to doing service with you again, when we need service for our garage door!!

A1 responded immediately to our needs and were quickly able to schedule an appointment. When Jacob came over he showed us all the options and quoted the price for each. He was efficient and professional. After completion of his work, he took the time to not only clean everything up, but to also fully explain all the functions of our new openers. I would happily recommend A1 to anyone looking for a trustworthy, professional garage door service.

Jacob was easy to work with. Explained benefits of different doors etc making it easy and clear to get what I wanted. Enjoyed working with him. Would recommend him to anyone looking to do their garage door. No photos yet but can add when work is finished.

Overall

Tony called to let us know he was on his way. He listened and addressed all concerns. The recommendations he gave for parts were both high end and low end without being pushy. He was also willing to educate me on the necessary repairs, which is truly appreciated. He also offered maintenance tips to prevent future issues. Very happy with the service Tony provided and our garage door is running smoothly!
