The work they performed was done on time, on budget and looked fantastic. This is a great crew that did exactly what was promised and for a very fair price. Unfortunate experience with Landworks. We were referred by a friend in the landscaping business who expressed Landworks was the best. I wish I would have done more research before signing the contract. Communication was horrible, scheduling was a nightmare, and the final cost wasn't what we signed off on. The workers that installed our landscaping and patio were great. They were hardworking and willing to answer our questions.

I have been a member of the LandWorks team for just about 8 years. I just want to share a couple of examples of what it’s like to be a LandWorker. Last week I had to work late a couple of nights. No big deal; it’s my work…my responsibilities. I had no issues with it at all. 5:00pm comes around and my co-workers are gone. Suddenly, one comes back with a bag of Taco Bell to make sure I eat! That’s a great teammate and a direct reflection of our work environment. The very next day we got a snowstorm. I was leaving just a few minutes after my supervisor. I go out to my car and he had brushed the snow off. Again, a great teammate. Last Friday, we had an “end-of-season" shut-down party (as we do every year) at our Milwaukee location. As I was headed from Sussex to Milwaukee, another one of my co-workers called to tell me she had saved me a parking spot right at the door. It was snowing and I am old!! These are just a few examples of what happened in the course of just a couple days. Believe me, it is an honor and privilege to be a LandWorker!

It will be extremely difficult leaving my teammates in all sectors of this company. My co-workers are hard-working dedicated individuals who exhibit respect, positive feedback, and daily 'team' efforts to create gorgeous floral and hardscape designs for appreciative clients. Everyone cares about the health and safety of all. Everyone lends a helping hand when work related obstacles or a personal dilemna arises. Avoid. Arborist and plant specialist don't know plant growth and lie about expectations. Don’t back up promises. Just out to make a buck. Even with proven emails they wouldn’t back up their product. Now using Johnson’s nursery with fabulous outcomes!

Horrible company!!! They broke one of my customers windows while they were trimming a fence line between the properties. I sent them pictures and a repair invoice and they refuse to do anything because their workers don't remember breaking the window. Well of course your workers aren't going to "remember" breaking the window. I already read the post that says they treat their workers like dirt. What happens to the guy that "remembers" breaking a window. What kind of company doesn't take care of their mistakes? Horrible!!! If they don't fix their mistakes, what will happen when they screw something up on your property.

Zero stars if I could. Billed significantly over contracted amount. When I asked for an explanation of the charges relative to the contract, my rep refused to provide clarity or any itemization. She wouldn't even answer the question. Corporate doesn't return calls. Dumped debris on my neighbors property. Often workers milling around not working. Disappointing!

All of these comments about being unfair to employees is absolutely ridiculous and very false! This is the only employer I have ever been with that the owners actually care, and show appreciation for their employees! The ones that are making these negative comments are the ones that get let go for not being a good employee. Landworks only wants the best, and the best ones that actually care and work hard, are the ones that stay! That is why I am still happily employed here ?
