My techs name was Paul B and I think he did a very good job. He was pleasant, informative and courteous. He explained the service he performed and discussed the problem. He fixed the problem in good time and it’s still working fine. I would hire Childers and Paul again. I bought this AC unit 17 years ago and have only had a couple of repair jobs during that time. I’m happy with that too.
The AC still wasn’t cooling properly a month later so I called Childers and they sent out Louis to check the unit. Unfortunately the leak is expanding and the the coolant is leaking out quickly. Louis informed me of the problem and what it would cost me to have leak repaired and/or just coolant added at least every month or more. So he informed me of my options of costs to replace AC unit and a coil. Because the oil furnace is over 30 yrs old Paul quoted me the cost of a heat pump and removing old furnace. I trusted him and his company. So I went with the heat pump which overall made more sense. Thanks Louis for all your information and helping me make a good decision.

We experienced wonderful service from Childers. We came home from being away for a couple of days due to the arrival of our first child to a house that would not cool down despite our efforts. So we were already stressed and to have a hot house on top of it was terrible. Childers was quickly there the next day to help find the problem. David B. gave us excellent service, he was not only professional but very personable. He provided us with education on how to properly maintain our system so that the issue would not occur again. He even answered a few questions I had that were completely unrelated to the issue we were having. Would recommend to everyone in the future!!

I had a HVAC system installed by Childers and it didn’t seem to be cooling properly. I called their office and they sent a tech Jeremy M. within a few hours, he was very nice, checked the system, made a few adjustments and completed the service. He also said if I have any further issues to call back and they will get someone here asap. Very pleased with the service call and tech!

Excellent service by Childers this morning. My air conditioning would not operate and it is expected to be 90 degrees with a real feel of 101. David B. was on time as I was his first customer. He quickly, but thoroughly completed my repair. He took the time to educate me on how my system operated and how to troubleshoot. He exceeded my expectations. Well done.

Mark came and gave us a quote, it was more than the other company, but we decided, based on the units offered & Mark, to go with Childers. They installed my unit which went fine. However they popped a hole in our wall upon trying to run the thermostat control & forgot to put back up the panel for the breaker box. No big deal I thought, until it took almost 2 weeks to get them to correct this, and when I asked them to put the panel back up for me, the worker had flipped off the breaker solely for the unit itself, which caused it to get 80° in my home where I have a newborn. It took me hours to figure out why the system wasn't working and I'm honestly disappointed with the "repair"
If you're looking for a company, perhaps go with a different one and don't make the same mistake we did.

We couldn’t ask for better professional electricians! Dustin P. Did an outstanding job installing two of the most difficult fans!! One of the fans needed to be installed inside on a cathedral ceiling and the other outside on the back porch. These guys definitely deserve kudos!!!
