I’ve been in the process of switching insurance’s and the escrow department has been very helpful by helping me giving the right information. Thank you all for everything you do.

My wife and I bought our house through WVHDF in 2016 and it has been as steady as it can be. There has always been timely communication whenever interest rates adjust (it has not really changed so much that it would be unreasonable, just minor changes). I am thankful for the program, as it helped us afford a home of our own. We couldn't be happier with it.

I applied last year during their open applications. I was approved. My landlady contacted me a few days ago saying that they had pulled back the approved funds that had been paid for her tenants and she was letting everyone know. I was not notified and I ended up past due on rent when I thought that I was getting rental assistance. And that my rent was covered for months. Fortunately my landlady is giving her tenants time to get signed up for HUD and to get caught up.

Not a good program. (1. Had to take out a loan for down payment. Wasn't told this until you get ready to sign for the home. Being alone with about 4 other professional people I was too scared to back out. Can't refinance because you have to have the smaller loan paid which is thousands (15). Payments are steadily going up for some reason. I can understand when insurance rates go up but other reasons no.

Nicest and best people to work with ever! We were first time home buyers and they answered all of our crazy questions and went out of their way to get us to the right people when the sellers's realtor did not bring the keys to closing (Had to get lawyers involved). Can not say enough good about these people (especially Sherry Nelson)!!!!
