I have had some work done here on an article of clothing before this incident and was happy with the quality of work. It was excellent. The time it took for the work to be done was average…2 weeks or a little more for one article of clothing to be hemmed. Oh well right, it was good work. So a week after I picked up that article of clothing, I dropped off another piece of clothing basically the same thing to be done. 2 weeks to by so I reach out and find out that there has been no work done and that I need to come in to have the clothing measured while wearing it before it can be done. Soo why am I finding this out 2 weeks later and who knows how long I would have went if I hadn’t reached out. So I did that and another 2 weeks go by. Keep in mind this is a single article of clothing needing a small adjustment. At that point I reach out and am told again that nothing has been done. Of course after the first 2 weeks of time wasted, this is now just over 4 weeks with absolutely nothing done. I told them I was coming to get them, I’m not waiting any longer, and then I was persuaded to give them “a couple more days” and it would be done. Well…another 1.5 weeks go by with no word so I physically went to get my singular article of clothing back. Of course, absolutely nothing was done. This is now almost 6 weeks….for a job that literally could be done in 3-4 hours. As a customer, the work I was supposed to be receiving was willingly disregarded again and again for almost 6 weeks, probably would have continued if I hadn’t ended it. Again a singular piece of clothing to be hemmed, I get that it’s not a job the business will get rich off of by itself, but that is what the business does. To continually place other other work in front of another customer’s that had been much earlier in terms of a waiting list is bad business. The work is great, however if you have a time limit…don’t go here, they don’t care. If you have a small job that will not cost much…don’t go here, they will disregard you for a more profitable customer despite your request being exactly what the business offers. Very frustrating and this the first review I have ever left, good or bad, so I am not a person that complains. I just feel like this small area should know something about the new business that has shown up recently. Sadly they lost a customer despite having to travel over to a neighboring town now to get the same service I was supposed to receive here. I guess my money wasn’t good enough. Thanks!
