Our neighbor is an elderly woman who has just had surgery and still has to drive almost daily to Idaho Falls to see her husband who is in the hospital. The SVD trash truck driver called in a damaged trash can when he emptied her trash can in his truck, PLUS we called SVD as well as our neighbor called them directly and all were promised by the Office Manager on THREE different occasions/dates that a trash can with a missing wheel would be either fixed or can replaced, and told to leave it at the curb. THREE TIMES THEY LIED. On the 5th day again promised that they would come to fix it, but THREE STRIKES is an OUT, so they have lost our TRUST. I had to load it into our truck and take it from SVR to their office in Afton to make sure it was replaced once and for all, as apparently they are incapable of even such a simple task. Shame on you Star Valley Disposal.

07/27/21 - UPDATED COMMENTS:
When taking the trash can in to SVD, we had the opportunity to meet the Owner of SVD (name withheld so everyone won't be asking for her). She apologised, though the best apology is the one that just corrects the problems, so they don't repeat to others. Otherwise, an apology is just words, often and all too common stated matter-of-factly and without real regret. We believe that this was not the case as to (the Owner), who seemed honestly regrettable that the problem was not handled better by her staff. Perhaps with better training to the staff who answer the Office Manager's phone line, better customer service can be achieved in the future. We got a brand new trash can for our neighbor, who was delighted to finally be able to take her trash to the curb without hardship, and best of all... it matches her other trash can AND the trim on her house. Thank you (SVD Owner). PS. We are also SVD clients and have not had a problem with them, before this one. And our pick up driver is always great. See new trash can on her driveway.

They told us to have the trash can out by 8am. But they were consistently coming before 8am and missing our trash that was out by 8am. Canceled the service mid quarter and they would not refund the remaining service fees!

Very bad customer service. They forget to pick up trash and when you call to let them know the lady that answers the phone yells at you and they never apologizes for the miss pick up. And they don't come out the next day, you have to wait til the next week for them to pick it up. They don't pro rate for the inconvenience. The billing is never correct.
