Ordered something through their store. While it was the correct part number, when the part came, it became clear that it was not the correct replacement part for our model. In an attempt to exchange for the correct part of similar price, we were told it would be an additional $40 for their trouble. When the part was brought back for a return, I offered to only be reimbursed for the cost of the part, they keep the cost of shipping to the store. We were told to pay for the cost to return it and restocking fee. I said no, it is not my responsibility to pay for restocking if the part was not 100% correct. Dave became instantly verbally combative and I regrettably rose to the challenge. My integrity and intelligence as a customer was questioned. While I understand they are in the business of making money, the initial volatile behavior on Daves part was completely unprofessional and uncalled for. In fact, if they'd simply said that their policy was no returns unless the restocking fee was paid, I would have simply turned around and left. I would not reccomend their service to anyone unless they didn't mind being attacked for poor business practices.

Dave charged $88 just to come look at a dryer then said the bearing wheel and metal tub of the dryer needed to be replaced...? Said it would cost $600 to replace. Going to have the machine inspected by a third company and file a complaint if the metal tub doesn't need to be replaced.

Asked for an itemized bid on the repair to which they never provided. Something smells fishy about this company...

Wanted to say thank you to Jan and Dave. My wifes clothes dryer quit working over the weekend and after some quick diagnoses I figured out the part that had failed. We tried a couple of stores that happen to be open on Sunday to find the part we needed to no avail. Monday morning I called Dave's Appliance Repair and spoke with Jan. As always Jan was more than helpful in checking their inventory to find the part we needed. After a short period of time she called me back and informed me that they did indeed have the part I was looking for. She informed me she would be leaving for lunch, but would return in an hour. After the hour had past I went to the store to pick up the part. Jan was friendly and courtious
as usual, and had my part waiting at the counter as she knew I was on my lunch break and in a hurry. So thanks again to Dave's' Appliance and especially to Jan. I would highly recommend them for any of your appliance needs.

Called for service through a warranty company. Dave came out charged $75 for each appliance he looked at, and then elected to not tell the warranty company about the mechanical failure on the ice maker, now have to find another company to come do the same diagnosis that he should have done. Additionally my freezer drawer now grinds as it opens and closes, overall worse off than prior to his "service"
