Expect extremely poor quality. Warranty follow up will happen as long as the fix is quick, easy, and cheap to them. In a custom made hamper they taped the face of the cabinet on and since it’s out of warranty refuse to correct the problem of it falling off, unless I hire them to fix it. I can’t stress enough how low quality everything is and how much regret we have for using them and trusting our builder that recommended them. Avoid at any cost. You won’t get what you pay for.

Crew put in a dent in my washer and dryer as they were installing the cabinet doors. Took them 2 months to “investigate” at the end did not fix or pay for it. Owner refused to talk to me. Very horrible company to work for and work with. Avoid them at all cost.
Additionally They nailed the face of white drawers through the outside, then caulked it to ‘fix’ it.
Installed completely warped cabinets doors... had to fight them to replace it.
Owner is a dirt bag to say it kindly. Refused to talk to me.

1.5 years later, the dents on the washer machine still remind us of their ‘quality’ work.

RUN from this place! They lie about special ordering your cabinets and then drop off extras from the back warehouse. I had my cabinets delivered, some of which weren’t wrapped and placed in my garage. An hour later another truck shows up to deliver my cabinets. I told them they had just been delivered and the guy checks his truck only to find it empty. They sent out their ‘tile guy’ who did such a terrible job it had to be redone again. Third time our Insurance sent out someone else who was actually a ‘tile guy’ and when asked who did the job the last time, he laughed and said he knew him from previous jobs and he didn’t know the first thing about tile work. After they installed the cabinets and put the microwave back in, we noticed the wall in the other room was warm to the touch. Idiots vented it into the wall instead of reattaching it properly.They install ‘extras’ then say you might not remember but you did order that. Paint chipped off cabinet doors within a week. Fronts bowed after a month. Poor quality, incompetent employees, shoddy workmanship.

If I could post 0 stars I would. THE REVIEWS ARE ACCURATE. The wrong cabinets were made (I ordered and PAID FOR white paint and got stained espresso), I am a month and a half into my install, still missing shelves, cabinets, hinges, I have been hung up on by the CEO DALE while talking over me and not allowing me to talk until I spoke up. The receptionist was rude when I tried to get a hold of the other owner Brett. This place is an unorganized romper room of mistakes and poor quality. Biggest mistake in my kitchen renovation was hiring Western Idaho Cabinets.

I don't typically leave reviews for companies, but after building a custom home from scratch, there are a few companies who were involved that I would like to personally recognize. Western Idaho Cabinets is one of those companies. Justin gave me so much of his time and was so helpful in helping us figure out which stain and wood would give us the desired look for our home. Justin personally met me at the home and did the measurements and customized the design for specific types of cabinets. He even had custom corbels built for the hood to give my wife the exact look she wanted. The first time I saw the cabinets after they were installed, I was blown away. The color, finish, and quality of the cabinets, by far, exceeded my expectations, and the meticulous finish work was done to my perfectionist standards. (Thanks Max!) It was an absolute pleasure to work with your company, and I can honestly say I am very pleased with my cabinets!

The cabinets in our new home were done by Western Idaho Cabinets and within the first year the paint was falling off. Every time I wipe the cabinets with a damp cloth, to clean them, I have to sweep up all of the paint that falls off. It's happening to all of our cabinets. We have have only been in our home for a few years and I can't believe how terrible the cabinets look already. Very disappointing. I would not recommend them. We had white cabinets in two other homes and the paint never chipped or fell off. This company does not know what they are doing.

Western built and installed the cabinets in my new house, love them. The builder messed up and "forgot" I had pedestals for my washer and dryer. A crew came up to move them up. Minimal cost and excellent job, only a minor paint line showing where the cabinet used to be. They also replaced the slides on a few drawers that were not closing right. I probably will never go through the trauma of building another house but won't hesitate to use Western.

BEWARE!! If I could give negative stars, I would. We built a home with Stetson Homes in 2015. We had numerous issues with the cabinets from the beginning. Holes drilled improperly, cabinet doors that didn't have the finish on them, wrong handles installed, ect. We had to have them come out numerous times to fix dings and such. We've been diligent about cleaning with their recommended Cabinet Magic stuff, but it doesn't matter. The paint is literally chipping off on every cabinet. We had two different cabinet companies come out to give us quotes on fixing the cabinets, but basically the conclusion is that the cabinets are junk and can't be fixed. We'll be forced to replace them. The kicker is that we paid extra for me to have my "dream" white kitchen and it's become my worst nightmare.

DO NOT PURCHASE WHITE PAINTED CABINETS from Western Idaho Cabinets. They chip very easily, are painted unevenly & any touch up shows. They recommend the white cabinets be cleaned with magic wood cabinet cleaner which is all I use. We are very careful to ONLY touch the knobs when opening the doors. There are only 2 very tidy adults using our kitchen & the cabinets are already showing so much wear & tear! Go elsewhere if you are wanting white cabinets! The drawer glides are cheap too!!

I'm so unhappy with how my painted cupboards are holding up. They are nice enough people but will not stand by their product. This picture shows the cupboard after being touched up, their suggestion to make the cupboards look better. I asked them to please at least tell homeowners about how painted cupboards are not a good option anywhere that has water, kitchen, bathrooms... I have been really careful to wipe these quickly anyone water gets on them which is so annoying since they are right next to the dishwasher. We went with Western Idaho because we felt we'd be getting higher quality than buying the from a chain and because I love to support local businesses. I have beautiful pine cupboards they made and that are holding up beautifully. If a salesperson would have said "hey, those painted cupboards are cool but they look junky in a year" I would have listened! The only option I have been given is to replace the doors.
We were told the paint was automotive paint, you can take a car through the carwash....

The cabinets they made were fine, but the designer made a mistake on the built in desk and then ignored my calls for 4 weeks. When I finally got him to call me, by refusing to pay the other half of my bill, he didn't apologize he just told me their answering service sucked and he didn't get any of the 9 messages I had left. For someone building a 4 week delay would be annoying, but for someone living in a renovation 4 weeks without usable cabinets and floors waiting for tile was miserable.

It's a shame that one person soured my experience because the cabinets are nice, the installer was friendly, fast and did an amazing job and the person who came out to do a final touch up was also great. We're getting ready to build and no matter how much I like their work, I can't bring myself to use them again.
