Who doesn't love waking up to discover a basement drain backing up?! What a way to start my week. The good thing is that I didn't even have to figure out who I needed to call. I've been using Academy Air for my heating/cooling, electrical, and hot water heater maintenance needs since my wife and I purchased our home. For over a decade Academy Air has been responsive and professional whenever we've needed them. This time was no different.

Elijah was at our place within an hour to diagnose the problem. Another hour or so later and he was leaving after having fixed our problem. He was absolutely fantastic! He was super personable and extremely knowledgeable. As first time homeowners, there are just so many little tips and tricks that you may not learn from friends and family. Elijah was great because he took the time to explain why our secondary drain clogged and how to easily avoid this problem in the future. I can't recommend him or thank him enough for how much he helped us!

Only had them out for a bid so far, but Kevin was polite & professional. The quotes I received were very reasonable & easy to understand. I appreciate the help & will update this post if we go with Academy.
I would recommend putting them on your list for bids. They seem like a good company & have a great reputation. Price seems middle of the market & very fair for the service offered.

The follow ups, communications & final installation were awesome & efficient. I could not be more satisfied with the entire process & look forward to years of service with them!
Ryan L. was an absolute ⭐rock star ⭐ of an installer! Spent almost an entire day & did most of the job alone. Correctly estimated his completion time within about 45 minutes +/-. I'm sharing my opinion again, because I've had yet another fantastic experience with Academy Air Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, Electric! I am a member of the Care Plan, which includes one free drain cleaning each year. My laundry drain was very stubbornly blocked --- may you be so lucky to have RYAN as your service technician!! Not only was Ryan polite, kind, extremely professional and courteous - he had the perseverance and tenacity to NOT give up and achieved wonderful success for me! He admitted it was one of the toughest blockages he's worked on. Beyond thrilled that I've reclaimed my laundry and will not have to visit the laundromat any more!! I have one more service call scheduled to replace the old corroded washer spigots. I'm very relieved, extremely pleased and feel so lucky to have Ryan for my service - he was so patient and understanding throughout all of my concerns and questions. TOP NOTCH! PS ... do not wash large Bona dust mop heads in your washer (unless you have a good screen to collect all the debris)! Lesson learned :D
