Edit: After closing on the home, we quickly noticed sounds from the attic. We called two pest control companies who both confirmed mice & bats in the attic, and who both said the activity goes back much further than when we bought the house. There was also a hole in the garage and chewed weather strips. These signs of rodent activity should have been caught by the inspector, but now is costing us quite a lot of money and nuisance to repair. I have to change my rating from 5 star to 3 star because of this considerable miss in the report.
